These poems (for me) help me to fall in love with God all over again and then to fall in love with myself/lover because of God. This book does not speak of an Agape love but of romance, the feelings that most humans can readily access. If you are an atheist or agnostic you can read this for the poetry of love with the warning it mentions God/Holy Spirit.

these are the most beautiful love poems I have ever read they fill the heart with longing I feel they are a longing for God or the beauty in oneself.It would be wonderful to meet such a man so full of love and feeling I do not know of any modern poets who can write like this.

You can never go wrong with Rumi. He's, in my opinion, one of the greatest poets. his poems touch my soul and when i read them, my mind goes away into the world he describes. his words are a trip, a wonderful one. I highly recommend. However, it is a small book, with not that many poems. but regardless, those present are amazing.

Questo libro raccoglie alcune poesie di Rumi in inglese, certo il costo è abbastanza elevato trattandosi di un libricino, ma lo desideravo nella mia libreria. Ne consiglio l'acquisto.

bought two of these, one for myself and one for a friend. you can't go wrong with saint rumi. his verses of love and devotion to the divine are inspirational.
