A MUST have with hard water
I have used Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Lime and Rust Remover for years. It's the only thing that takes out the hard water stains in my toilets. I only wish I had discovered it before using harsher chemicals that ate at the chrome trim in my shower.Yup, I use this in my showers and tubs also. It's less harsh than the IronOut that I have used in the past. It does have a strong odor to it, but compared to other cleaners, I don't think it's any stronger smelling, but I don't know for sure, as I haven't used other toilet bowl cleaners in my shower. Compared to the IronOut, it less "fumey" and doesn't eat at the chrome.Yes, it is strong smelling in my shower, but I'm using it straight out of the bottle. I squirt it on my shower walls then wet my ScotchBrite extension shower scrubber thingy and scrub it all around. I let it set for a bit, depending on how deep the orange is. Some times of the year, our orange is deep, almost brown. If you have iron issues, you know what I am talking about. Then I rinse as I would with any other cleaning product. If you choose to use this in your shower, I would recommend spot checking first (just to be safe, as my chrome was already pitted before I found Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Lime and Rust Remover) and wearing gloves, as it does sting a bit. Of course, keep in mind, I am not using this product for what it is intended. So, if you choose to do this, neither Lysol, the seller, nor me are LIABLE.I do use Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Lime and Rust Remover in my toilets, also. I squirt a bunch in, scrub the bowl and let it set in there. Just as I would any other toilet bowl cleaner. This removes the rust stains that bleach cleaners will not touch. I have tried other products that say "will remove rust stains" and they have not. No matter how much I use or how long I soak the bowl. So for me, this product is perfect for me and our rust issues. So glad I found this product on Amazon. I have always had problems getting this at my local Walmart as they don't consistently stock it. I really hadn't thought about looking here until Covid-19. The price may be slightly higher than I would pay at Walmart. But when they don't have it in stock, I have to buy something that doesn't work for our needs. So for me, it's worth a bit extra to get what I know will work. This was my first time ordering from this seller and I had no issues. Each of the 4 bottles came together in one box. The inside of the box was lined with bubble wrap and the bottles were "loose" in the bubble wrap. None were damaged or leaking. I probably shouldn't say "loose", because there was no room for them to bounce around. But I say "loose" because they weren't packaged as a "4PK" or wrapped individually. It was 4 individual bottles inside a box with bubble wrap. Nothing more. No extra unnecessary packaging. They were packaged better than if I had gone to the store and bought 4 bottles and thrown them into a bag.I hope this review helps. I will be ordering this product again and I will choose this seller.

This Ish Is AMAZING
First off: I HIGHLY suggest wearing some sort of a mask while using this. It's incredibly caustic. You know that little rust spot at the drain on your tub from where the water drips? This stuff will remove it in <5 minutes. Guaranteed.Rusty toilet bowl.... GONE in <1 hour. Guaranteed. If those little holes were the water comes from the tank into your toilet when you flush have stains built up over the years... THIS is what you need to get rid of that...SERIOUSLY. First I turned the water to the toilet off and flushed so there was VERY LITTLE water left in the tank. Then I squeezed quite a bit up into each hole. About 20 minutes later. About 20 minutes later, I opened the tank lid squeezed this stuff all around the inside of the tank and let it sit for about 20 minutes too. Then I used just a normal toilet bowl cleaning brush and this stuff to clean the LITERAL 40 years of rust off the sides of the inside of the tank--took 10 minutes, tops, to look brand new. Then I lifted the little flapper thing that opens when you flush and squeezed like half the bottle down that hole, turned the toilet water back on just to get about an inch of water in the tank and scrubbed it all off the walls of the tank. Next I used the same normal scrubbing toilet bowl cleaner to scrub the holes in the toilet bowl with all the rust build-up and HOLY MOTHER OF EARTH I could not believe the CHUNKS of rust that just fell right out.I ended up using 2 whole bottles in total, but 100% worth having a 40 year old toilet look, and flush like a brand new toilet. And I swear it flushes different now. I know that sounds stupid, but I swear it just seems more efficient when it's flushing.10/10 recommend for ANYTHING that's rusty that you don't want to be rusty any more. Now I just use it to maintain by squeezing a bit directly into the tank water, letting it sit for a few minutes and flushing several times.I'm truly and at how well this stuff not only removes rust but how quickly it does it!!!I REALLY wish I'd taken before & after pictures but I just wasn't thinking I'd want to feel the need to show how well it works.

We have minerals in our water and this WORKS!
Our water is good drinking water but it does have as lot of mineral content and leaves what look like rust streaks in the toilet bowl. I've tried many products to clean it, with little success, until I found this! It's easy to use and it's safe for our septic system... turn the bottle top down and squeeze out the gel. The top is slanted so you can aim in where you want. I cover the whole interior of the bowl. After letting it sit for awhile, I scrub it with a toilet brush.NOW THIS IS IMPORTANT. When I first brush it, the "rust" stains go away but the bowl still looks a little yellowed. But voila! A little later, that yellow is gone, too! I love this stuff!Try it... you'll like it!

To Each Their Own!
Recall one over-the- top rating that after years of neglect, Lysol brought back the old glory to the throne in no time. Certainly not my experience, and if you set out with that in mind, there is going to be disappointment. Does a decent job, however.

Magic!
I'd had stains for well over a year, and I'd tried a lot of different ways to get rid of them. I just kind of gave up and thought that was going to be that. THEN I tried this stuff. The nozzle to open/close was busted on the one I tried. (That's why the three stars in the "Easy to Use" category.) That's really the only downside. I was able to saturate the rust/lime areas in the toilet; left it overnight; next morning: GLORIOUSLY clean! I was stunned. The scent is okay... kind of extra perfumy, but I don't really have any objections to it.I'm just stunned at how well this stuff really got rid of the years-long stains I had in my toilet. I highly recommend it!
