Great for family fun night
I don't like that you can't use them on the first system but my son is happy that they came out with the super hero's on the 2.0 system. We got these for our children as a Christmas present and we have had hours of family fun playing the games and fighting together and against each other. The characters are made form the same plastic as the first one and if you step on certain ones they will break but they are pretty sturdy compared to that. We bought the carrying case and the display case to make sure they were always put up so they would not break like they did on the first system. Great buy for any family fun or game night.

Great set for whole family
We love this set. We're a marvel family through and through, and we all enjoy this set. The environment (playset piece) has a ton to do, including side quests. You can also find ironman and Nova crossover coins so if you have the figures, you can use those characters. Only wish there was more to it after the dark aster, but we still enjoy it. Figures also came in good shape, though the box was open. The plastic was separated from the cardboard backing, but again - no big issue since all was intact. Would buy from this seller again.

Know where Knowhere is?
It's a small portion of a world, but highly detailed with many missions. The characters are good, but my boys insisted that I get Rocket. Star Lord is one of my favorite characters in the MCU, and this version does not disappoint. I just wish we could get the world of Knowhere in the toybox. Still this is a solid beginning ground for Disney Infinity.

Great price, great product
My daughters love this item. They use Gamora the most. The playset is nice, although some of the jumps that is required for missions are a bit hard for younger players. I found that to be a welcomed change from the overly easy games, but my daughters got frustrated with it at times. The quality of the figures is exceptional.Perhaps the best part was the price. $10 off of the price found in stores.

My son loves one of the characters
Bought this for my son who wanted Star lord. I don't think he's even played the other character, of course the one he wanted wasn't separate :) The only bad thing about these type of character gaming systems (Infinity and Skylanders) you end up spending a ton of money in additional characters and then they are all just THERE. Laying around taking up a bunch of space that normally was only the size of a game disc. I'd really rather they just offered a downloadable version of the characters and then I wouldn't have to worry about them getting broken or lost or someone borrowing them and not returning them. Just a little rant. Otherwise, my son loves the game and he takes the characters back and forth to his dads who has the Wii version, we have the PS3. So it is nice that they can be used on all systems.

The figures look great, and the paint jobs are well done
The figures look great, and the paint jobs are well done. They are both enjoyable to play as in the game, and the playset was enjoyable as well. The biggest thing to know is that it varies from the Avengers playset quite a bit. Like that one there is a heavy combat focus, but I would argue the missions are more varied. Rail slide challenges, anti-air shooting gallerias, and platform puzzles are easy examples of this. I found there to be more to do in this play set, but on the downside it was harder to navigate. Also no Guardian can fly, so the level is built around that. Once you unlock the two cross over heroes, Iron Man and Nova, they make the platforming sections meaningless. Granted you don't have to use them, but it is a option. If you have finished the Avengers playset, and you want a different setting, this is not a bad purchase. The two figures are different from the 3 in the starter set. Star Lord can be set up as a ranged or melee fighter and has a super jump using his rocket boots. His special is a turret that defends that area. I find using him as a duel wielding ranged fighter works best for my play style. Drop a turret and pick off people from a distance. Gamora is a faster melee type fighter who also has a pistol. Similar to Black Widow but with a better special and cooler attack animations. Her special gives her a speed boost, and allows you to run around the level while using a powerful dashing attack.Out of the two playsets available I have enjoyed this one more, but I feel spider man is the best toy out of the 4. Maybe that will help in your decision somehow.

Kids will love it
It's a shame the Disney Infinity series shuttered their doors in 2016 without having reached its full potential. If there is a bright side to all of this, you can now purchase many of their sets and figures at roughly a fraction of their original price. I purchased this Guardians of the Galaxy playset along with The Avengers and Spider-Man versions and I must say that it is the weakest of the three in terms of gameplay. As usual with Infinity figures, Gamora and Star Lord look very nice and are handsomely detailed. However, the gameplay involved a lot of tedious platforming with a restrictive freedom of movement that got old quickly and paled in comparison to the free roaming structure of the Spider-Man and Avengers playsets. Still, the graphics were excellent with a wide color palate and offered unique environments that served as a refreshing alternative to the city scape of the other playsets offered in Disney Infinity 2.0. As an adult, I found this playset to be just okay in terms of its gameplay, however, I see no reason why a child wouldn't love it.

Great set! Lots of xbox adventures await!
Fun set, the kids loved it. We added Groot, Drax and Rocket later. Lots of fun power discs too. The expense of Infinity is nothing compared to how each set or figure can be earned in chores, homework or just not fighting at the grocery store for my boys. Plus I have fun finding good prices.
