Wow what a read. I read this book in less than 24 hours. I loved the double twist at the end. Not sure if I have read this author before I do not think I have. I will definitely be looking out for more of this authors books and I highly recommend this book

Good story. It kept me guessing who the culprit was. I didn't get it right. I recommend this book.

Kitchen SinkA thriller packed with banter.This book is the fourth of the Slater and Norman series, but it's my first, though I am familiar with DS Norman from another PF Ford's series.The interplay between the two leads is such that it's a wonder they get any work done, which makes this book very entertaining, giving it a whole other dimension compared to other gritty thrillers.We have here a murder, an obvious suspect but with an alibi and then others equally evidenced so the investigators find this case very frustrating. The book has a very sharp conclusion and is an enjoyable read.

Fast paced and full of twists, especially the very end!Would recommend this series if like me you like to see how the main characters develop.

I have to admit it was a true mystery. I believed that the husband was innocent. But he got it in the end.

Once again the team of Slater and Norman crack a convoluted and intriguing case. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend this series of books,they really are good

Didn't see it coming. Fast pace. Great dialogue. Fully developed characters. The partnership Slayer and Norman im as ked it all real.
