Yes, it can be low temperature ironing.

Will this fit a 4ft table?

Yes, with a nice over-hang. I used it on a larger square table and it was fine.

Will this hang to the floor if my table is 48 inches tall? Should i order 1 or 2?

Read description of product it tells you how to measure and what size to buy

What size do u need for a eight feet table

I would order the largest table cloth they have early enough so that if it doesn't fit you can return it. Also the table cloth is an overlay because it is very thin.
