Guys, this rice washer strainer Bowl needs to be in your kitchen. I didn’t realize how much I needed this until I saw it. The old way of washing my rice was in a bowl, draining out the water couple times but the problem is a lot of rice would be loss in the sink that’s a waste. One day I was browsing Amazon and this came up I forget what I was searching for, I saw it and I saw similar rice strainer bowls less expensive with a handle and I bought the less expensive plastic one. Not my best choice because the one I bought ended up being a small thing and it’s plastic not too sturdy when you add water and trying to wash the rice, needless to say it just didn’t do a good job. I got refunded and decided to make the investment, sure this one compare to the one I bought is double the price but let me tell you what you get. A sturdier metal deep bowl. No handle that is flimsy. Some bottom groove to wash your rice well and an easier way to drain starch water and best of all no rice loss in the sink. I also love that the use of this rice washer strainer bowl is not only for rice you can wash vegetables, fruits and because it’s metal not plastic you can strained steamed vegetables. With all these usage and benefits, the price is worth it to me remember I went the less expensive route and came back to my senses and bought this Dopmep Rice washer strainer bowl, this should be in EVERY KITCHEN PERIOD. This is a great strainer. I definitely will not recommend using it to strain vegetables. Because it could be hard to clean or to get any residue from the very tight spaces in the bottom of this strainer. This is great to use to strain pasta and rice. I wouldn't use it with anything else in my opinion.
