Really good
I wanted one of these for ages and was in 2 minds and I have bought so many hair tong type things in the past and it is quite expensive. I have been using it for a week and love it. It's easy to use, has a long cord and makes lovely waves.

Didn’t ‘hold’ hair
I found this brush didn’t ‘hold’ my hair as I tried to curl it. I have a straight bob & wanted to introduce a bit more body & curl - but just couldn’t get it to work. Sadly, I returned the item

Heated Barrel Brush (Olive Green)
I got this brush for my partner, who has long brown hair that's a bit thin and flat. It arrived in a nice branded box, making it perfect for gifting. My partner had never used a heating brush before, only curling tongs, so she was excited to try this out.The product appears well-made, which goes some way to justify its high price point. It's a quality item and easy to use, which is great because my partner doesn't like overly complicated things. The brush is easy to hold and displays the temperature setting, which can be adjusted up or down based on your preference. It does a decent job of creating curls, but my partner was hoping for more volume. The curls are created fairly easily by wrapping the hair around the brush for up to 5 seconds, depending on the temperature setting. My partner prefers to unravel her hair from the brush manually (not quite sure why...), but there's a slide button that retracts the bristles, freeing the hair. The ample cord length allows her to use the brush in front of our mirror wardrobe, and the 360-degree movable mount makes handling the product without twisting the cable much easier. It took a while for her to get the hang of using it, and she did burn her fingers a couple of times, but it does produce curls, just not the volume she was hoping for.At £124.99, I find it quite pricey, especially when there are comparable ones online for much less. But it's a well-made product, but I struggle to see why it has such a high price tag. I give it 3.5 stars but have rounded up to 4.

Too expensive and didn’t work on my hair
Not value for money. Heavy. Didn’t hold my hair.

Retractable brushes are a great idea.
I was a bit disappointed with it for the price. I like a brush I can just plug in and use straight away so didn’t like the fact that I had to wait for it to heat up also I found it quite cumbersome. I saw it recommended in a magazine where it had very good reviews so obviously some people must have really liked it.

Great for my fine hair
I have medium length fine hair and these are the first hair curlers I have got on with. The bristles hold on to the hair and retract when you release the curl. I’m delighted with them.

Use in dry hair only
I thought it was boxed well loved the colour we received - green. As with all of us I think we always manage to do one side of our head better than the other. It is difficult to hold as quite thick handle. You can use with the bristles out or lock them in to have a smooth curl tong. I couldn't get volume at top of my head like I would have loved but the curl at the end of my hair was adequate. I have shoulder length hair, think it would work better with longer but overall not bad. However I don't think I would pay the price requested for these
