I have a pair in the kitchen, medical kit, craft room and garden shed. Cuts small gauge wire, thin metal, small plant stems, herbs, flowers, bandages and never gets dull. Washes with soap and water or alcohol. I use them everyday.

These scissors really work well.

Although these are strong scissors they are not what actual EMT's use. I easily cut though a penny with one of those. These are made of thinner metal so I did not try it. That being said, they are plenty strong enough to cut most everything else. These are well worth what you pay for them. I use this in my set of traveling tools. They cut through rope and sticks with just a bit of extra force. They breeze through tape, cardboard, etc. You can easily put this in a first aid kit and hope you never need it to cut away somebody's clothes. This will do the job. Good cutting tool.

I was shocked to see how big these are. As a female needing these for nursing school they are too big. I might keep them since they were so cheap. They still do what the need to but I think these would be better for someone with really big hands

I needed a pair of heft scissors to cut some outdoor carpet and this pair got the job done perfectly! I liked the angle of the scissors as we needed to cut small slits near the edge of the carpet, so the angle of the scissors was perfect and made the job so much easier! The quality is great and they'll be good to have around for odd ball jobs around the house.

I picked these medical scissors up for putting in a toolkit or using in the workshop - always nice to have a decent pair to do non-precision cuts in material, tape, etc. These are nicely coated with titanium, and so far it's not chipping off (although I haven't used them that much yet). The action is good and the feel very solid...the finger loops are plenty big, although maybe not with thicker work gloves on. Overall I think they're a good deal.
