This is my second set of these.They work great until you hit them with the weed whacker bought to keep the moles and vowls from tunneling, under my pool

The solar spike worked for less than one day. The next day, you could barely hear the sounds. I doubt it was charging in the bright sunlight. Waste of money.

I've been plagued with squirrel & mole holes in my back yard for years. To keep them away I started using these stakes. I first used them about 4 years ago and they worked. 3 weeks ago I started seeing new mounds and a ground squirrel walking along my fence line. I then learned that the stakes can wear out in time so I replaced them with new. They've been in the ground for a week and no more mounds !! Also, I live in Rattlesnake country and I have not seen one snake in the yard this year or last year. Well worth the price.

Some of these didn't work at all.

The units that stopped working were in 6-8 hours of full sunlight.

I installed this device, but the constant beeping was just annoying. Every night, the rats calmly walk right past it as if it’s not even there, so it was completely ineffective.

Purchased these a month and a half ago, July 27, to get rid of the vole that's tearing up my yard. And that's the critter on the left side of the tree on the block tonight, Sept 9. It's not 2 feet from a spike. 😕 The spike is blocked in the pic by the tree. Yes, it is on and functioning. It is 1 of 4 I hear when I am in the yard.Of course, it's now too late to return them and I have to resort to another option.
