The stitching instructions are clear and easy to follow
This was my first attempt at crewel work and has turned out really well. The stitching instructions are clear and easy to follow. One of the wool colours was missing, but there was more than sufficient wool in another, closely related colour to substitute.... I am now left wondering what to do with all the left over crewel wool! A tip. Over-sew the edges of the linen before starting as it frays badly.
