MGA Lalaloopsy Doll Sahara Mirage

My daughter is three and she adores her "big" Lalaloopsy doll. She also loves the fact that she came with a "friend" animal as that is important to her right now. S he loves to sit her up with her Disney doll of the same size and "they talk". She also sleeps with them. Sahara is a bit heavier than I thought she would be but this only makes her more fun, her legs and arms are mobile. Her head is a bit top-heavy but this isn't a big problem. As others have said, she is nice to clean as her head and arms and legs are plastic. She is a lovely doll, I think my daughter will enjoy her for quite awhile. Afterall, I love her mobile hands and feet and button eyes! And her little pointed slippers are so sweet! The educational factor is something that could be better done by the company, I would appreciate more "Ethnic" variety. Lets get a bit more diverse than blond haired, blue eyed girls! I was able to get into the culture etc because of Sahara's clothes and camel friend. All in all, quite enjoyable!

My kids want Lalaloopsy dolls for Christmas. I chose this one because I wanted to get them a regular sized doll and a matching Littles sister, which this one has. This is our first foray into mainstream, suck-you-in, mass marketed toys, and I was willing to go there because they are really so adorable. I have heard from friends that they are durable and easy to clean, so that is why I rated them as such, because right now, I cannot attest to that. However I wanted to write a review because the price is good, the prices for their accessories, should you get really into them are also good, and they are highly appealing. I do not see them as particularly educational, but hey, not every toy needs to be.

We ordered this doll on April 13. Its delivery estimate was said to be anywhere from the 18th to the 23rd and it's the 27th and we still did not get it yet. When we checked our orders, it said that the doll would be "shipping soon." We bought her from a buyer named "BuyOldToNew" and we just contacted them. We have yet to see if they will respond. We gave it 3 stars because Sahara's features will be like all of our other Lalaloopsy dolls. The Lalaloopsy dolls are loads of fun! UPDATE: She's shipping now. We'll be getting her soon!

i only recently got on the Lalaloopsy bandwagon. they're sew cute i thought maybe i would start a collection. the dolls r beautiful and look very well made. the only real problem i hav with these r the fact that as an international customer i ended up paying mor than twice the actual price due to shipping and taxes. i don't think amazon realizes this problem and i hope they look into it for the sake of us "oustide" customers. most of our shipping services charge us by volumetric weight, so even if Lalas weight roughly 2 lbs in their own packaging, when amazon packs them in a box 19"x14"x6"...i pay for 9 lbs instead of 2. though the items r packaged so as to eliminate damage 2 the actual product, (very commendable) maybe they could scale down the size of the packaging just a tad. it would really make a difference cost-wise. especially since i plan 2 buy more of these these beautiful dolls!!

My daughter absolutely loves her doll. she calls it her "princess in pants" and enjoys playing with it and her other lalaloopsy dolls. very pleased with the the doll. happy to rate it 5 stars.
