Quality mid-weight full length gaiters with many ways to adjust the fit, and wear
This is my 3rd set of gaiters. I’ve paid for and own a light weight summer low cut set, and a very heavy thick, tall snow and icy conditions gaiter. Neither of those gaitor came with a carry bag. This set has a nifty carry bag and that does help with storage. There are numerous possible adjustments. The major bottom to top seam is fastened by a wide strip of hook and loop material (i.e., Velcro like). At the top there are three heavy duty quality snaps allowing the wearer to choose which snap to use on a particular day based on the clothing worn. The bottom end under the Velcro strip also has three snaps in a row. In the front of the bottom edge of gator is a metal flatten hook which is used to pull down the gaiter and to fit it by hooking around your boot laces. The top of the gaiter has a pull cord with a spring loaded stop. The combination of Velcro, snaps and pull cord allow for a lot of variation in how tight you might wear this based on conditions and what you are trying to keep out i.e., water, snow, pebbles, mud etc. The bottom edge of the gaiter is not level, but by drips down at an angle. This angled fits works perfectly for an ankle high or higher boot (boots with a vamp). I tried this gaiter on with my pair of low cut hiking boots. It’s possible that with quick marching and jumping around that the back of this gaiter, will rise up over the edge of low cut boots thus defeating the water and small rock repelling action wanted in a gaiter. If you do not wear low cut boots, then this is absolutely not an issue. The ankle area of the gaiter has an elastic band sewn in on the inner side, this creates a “gather” that results in a nice fit that allows also for maximum ankle movement. In my heavy weight gaiter, there is not elastic “gather” so ankle mobility is somewhat restricted. The hardware used is top quality and all the sewing is very well done. I do have a concern about the length of the belt at the bottom of this gaiter that goes under the instep of one’s boot when wearing this. It might be too short for people who wear a Men’s Size 10 (American sizing) or larger boots or boots that have very thick soles. Additionally, this belt is made is a shiny rubber like material. I’m not sure how well that will hold up over years of use. Based on the way this gaiter is constructed, should that belt need replacement, it would not be difficult to sew in a replacement belt provided that you have a sewing machine that can handle thick materials. For those last two reasons, I give this very well constructed gaiter 4 stars instead of 5.

Very Good Gaiters for the Price!
I’m a woman with thicker calves. These gaiters me fit very well wearing my wool socks, wool base layer, and heavy duty fleece lined pants (see photo). The velcro is VERY sticky and strong enough to keep the gaiters in place without snaps. I liked having a choice of using multiple snaps to adjust the fit on the bottom and top (with all my under layers I needed the largest width snap on top). It also has a bungie cord on top for a snugger fit and the hook on the bottom to hook into your shoe laces, if desired. The weak part of gaiters in general is the strap going under the boot. These straps are thick vinyl that should be pretty durable and not get stained. The strap on one side has two lines of stitching (see photo) and the buckle side has one line of similar stitching. I think these are well made and will last a few years at least.I think these are very good for the price. They are lightweight (even come with a nice carrying bag) and waterproof. Once wet, they dry very quickly. Recommend!

Good Value
These gaiters do well and provide good protection for the price. They are made from mid grade materials and probably will not last more than a few weeks on a through hike but for occasional use or as a backup pair the price is right and they will work well. The finish on the hardware installation and stitching is fair and will not hold up to long term hard use but for the weekend hiker they are perfect.

These gaiters are budget friendly!
These gaiters are budget friendly! For my calf they could be about an inch or two taller. They have button adjustments top and bottom and elastic mid way. They don't have a zipper down the front as they use velcro . The gaiters are water repellent and I'd use these for two uses...first is hiking. I've got up to go on hikes and had wet dew laden grass and weeds along the trails wearing baggy pants helps but these will keep your legs and feet dry as long as you are wearing good boots. The other use is snow removal because your using these to keep the snow out of your boots and keeping you dry. I'd be a little skeptical about using these in deep mud because once velcro gets dirt in the grooves it might not hold up good until it's cleaned again. That being said for a ten spot these are good to go. Giving five stars for budget gaiters! Thank you! -Mike

Missing snaps; low quality (but also low price)
I got these for light use when hiking. Overall, I'd say you get what you pay for. Mine came with missing snaps on one side (you can see in the picture).I'm a normal size 5'10", 160 lb male. These are a little too large for my calf. The Velcro isn't wide enough when I wrap the fabric around my leg. Maybe when I wear thicker pants it will help, but with normal hiking pants they are too big for my calves. The strap that goes under the shoe is a vinyl material. I think it will last for a while, but I would have been happier if it was a nylon strap. Again, for the price the straps are reasonable.Overall, for light use these are decent, but anything besides that probably warrants buying a higher quality item.

They work
I don't love the strap system but they fit and do the job.

Worked Perfect!
I ordered these gaiters to wear around my lower legs when I weed eat my yard. I like to wear shorts when I’m cutting the grass and wedding because of the heat here in Texas. However, my legs would always get tore up from weed eating by debris flying off the cut. Well, let me tell you these gaiters did the trick, they worked perfectly. They have several options to ensure correct adjustment and fit to your leg size. I was pleasantly surprised of how they stayed secure throughout the whole time of use. I’ve only used them once so far, but they seem to hold up very well and I believe will last for quite some time. This is a great deal considering the price for these guys. I very satisfied with this product and would recommend them for any time of leg protection you may need.
