I have been wearing these boots for about a year and a half now and can confidently give them a very positive review. The only thing that I don't love about these boots is that they are a little on the heavy side at 27 oz each. The first few days I wore them I dealt with some fatigue due to the weight of the boots, but to be honest they were extremely long and busy days, not really ideal for getting used to new footwear. There was a short break-in period of about 2 days for me.Other than the weight, which is personal preference, they are fantastic boots. Very comfortable, supportive inner, great traction, and durable. I've worn them 5-7 days per week for the last 20 months and the only sign of wear is a little toe wrinkle and some wear on the heel of the outsole because I tend to drag my heels when I walk slowly. They take and hold polish well, it took a few coats to build a base but once it was established now I only need to put on 2-3 coats once a month to keep them looking good. The waterproofing works well - the only time my feet ever got wet wearing them was one time when we had a real frog-drowner and I walked into a puddle a little past my ankles. I don't think it was deep enough to have gone over the top of the boots, but maybe it did or maybe the water proofing doesn't go all the way to the top. They also do an impressive job of wicking away sweat for a waterproof boot. I live and work deep in the sweaty south and on all but the hottest of August days my feet stay dry.All in all, if you need a tough, comfy, and long-lasting boot, I highly recommend this one!

Love these boots. One of the most comfortable I've ever worn. This is my second pair now. Wore the soles out in a year (which is good for me) and they were still more comfortable than other brand new boots!

Good work boot. Minimal break-in period. Some here have complained about squeaking while walking - it's the arch of the insoles. You can remove them and fit any of your favorite brand of insole - and no more squeaking. I gave it 4 stars because I think there may be some small amount of leakage at the seem where the outsole meets the leather upper. A little on the outer edge and a little at the heel. Nothing that a little beeswax or water-proofing paste couldn't cure. Over-all a good boot for the price.

These are the best boots I have ever owned. you can wear these all day and my feet feel great.

I've worn Danner boots for decades and have noticed the quality drop over the last few pairs I've purchased. The recent pair not just one of the boots but BOTH boots squeaked and not a small squeak. I'm very unhappy and disappointed with the quality control. I think they are a great looking boot and were super comfortable. Make sure to read the small print when company's say made in the USA.

Well made boot that fits true to size. The side zipper tends to unzip itself regularly. Usually it's only an inch or two but sometimes it will unzip all the way to the bottom.

I purchased these as a replacement for my last pair. They were long lasting and comfortable. The new pair require a slight break in period, but are becoming comfortable as well.

This I’d an excellent boot! Comfortable out of the box with NO break-in period. Great tread. The side zipper is essential for ease of use. There was a minor creaking inside the boots, but easily solved with a little talcum powder between the boot and the insole. Now they’re quiet, comfortable, dry and breathable. I’m very pleased, as I would expect to be with a Danner.
