I love the weight of these knives and they are very sharp, which is the whole point right?! Good variety of knives for different purposes…maybe I’ll actually start cooking again! 😂

I really liked the look of this knife set. You can tell that the knives are high quality, and the whole blade continues into the handle, and not simply pressed into a handle. I got these as a gift for my sister, so i didn't get to use them too much, but from my initial test, they are incredibly sharp. They come shipped in a box and are well enough protected, however they do not come with any sleeves to keep the blades protected in case you are storing them in a drawer. I got these knowing that, and my sister has a knife block that she can store these in, but just something to note in case you don't have an adequate place to store them.

First things first, a word of caution – these knives are razor-sharp right out of the box, so exercise utmost care when handling them. That said, I absolutely adore this set. Having a collection of carbon steel knives is one of those simple luxuries that truly enhance your daily cooking experience.The Chef Knife and Santoku Knife are particularly outstanding, making tasks like carving meats and chopping vegetables a breeze. Their balanced design makes slicing and dicing feel effortless. While the Boning Knife feels a tad light, it still performs well without any major issues.One notable downside is the lack of a dedicated knife block or full blade sheaths. The included tiny sheaths are quite impractical. Ideally, a proper knife block should have been included with the set, or at least full-length protective sheaths for convenient storage in separate drawer compartments. Storing them in a dishwasher is possible, but not recommended as it can be harsh on knife blades.Despite these minor drawbacks, this set is a gem. If you’re considering gifting these knives, it’s wise to include a knife block to complete the package and save the recipient the hassle of finding one separately.

I have said it before and I will say it again - every kitchen needs a great set of knives. If you love food and love cooking, you want a set of knives that you love. This knife set is really fantastic. It looks beautiful and it works really well. I really like that it comes with 5 different knives which is a great set to start with so that you have the right knife for the task you are performing. I like the stainless steel handles which are a very modern and practical design that will match basically everything and is easy to clean.I'm not a chef, but I did cook professionally for over 20 years and did so because I just enjoy cooking pretty much the rest of my life starting when I was old enough to do it. There are plenty of fancy choppers and such that you can use for food preparation, but a good knife and cutting board are the basic essentials.This set could make a great gift for housewarming, wedding, or someone just moving out on their own for the first time. If you have a friend who loves to cook, this could also make a really nice gift for them as well. I love my set and I definitely feel confident recommending this to others.

really nice knives, very sharp and not too heavy

These knives are one-piece blade and handle arrangements, so there's no place for food pieces to get stuck. No indentions or crevices either, so overall easy to keep clean. I have had to sharpen it a few times so far, after moderate amounts of use. They cut well, both meat and vegetables. The bread knife has stayed very sharp without help. I consider these a quality set of kitchen knives.

First of all I love these knives. They feel good to hold, they feel well balanced and not overly heavy and they are sharp. I'm curious how long they'll stay sharp being Stainless steel however they can be more easily resharpened then as well.They come in a beautiful case perfect for gifting and are a great array of knives for different uses.My one issue is that since they don't come with their own cutting block I would have hoped to see some sort of plastic, rubber or silicon even blade sheath. They have the tiny little "point" caps but unless you're going to store them in this gift box (not practical), have your own previous knife block that happens to work or space in a drawer knife-tray specifically for these, they're left free to bang into eachother, knicking edges or the most obvious, open blades for accidental cuts.For the cost of these otherwise quality blades i'm surprised that there wasn't a simple inclusion of some cheap plastic sheathes even.
