Multi-Purpose Methacrylate Repair Compound. Forms a STRONG & DURABLE plastic in about 15 minutes. Repairs - Builds - Bonds - Sands - Polishes. Tintable with paint tint, artist acrylic or wood stain. Easy-To-Use = Just wet polymer powder with methacrylate liquid (approximately 1=2 ratio, liquid to powder) to start reaction & curing process. Exact mixing ratio is not critical. Apply material when it reaches desired consistency. Various Curing Phases = 1000's of Uses = (1) Initial Liquid Phase is ideal for anchoring, casting and filling; (2) Sticky Phase works well for bonding, joining and repairing; (3) Clay Phase is great for shaping, molding, reinforcing and building plastic parts; (4) Full Cure Phase is a hard, tough, colorless plastic that can be machined, sanded and painted. Applications: bonds to many plastics including ABS, acrylic, polycarbonate, styrene (not polyethylene), Plexiglas, PVC, wood, metal, concrete; use to form parts like fasteners, tabs, knobs Application Tips = Place a drop of Plast-aid Liquid on plastics to test for bondability; if the plastic gets sticky, it should bond very well with Plast-aid. Works best on rigid materials.
