I bought this as a lightweight summer cover. I have 2 Motor trend covers. One is heavy duty and this one. Both are excellent covers, especially the heavy duty cover. Great all winter long.

I got this car cover for one of my cars, a 2021 Toyota Corolla. There are several uses for this cover, but my primary one is to protect the car from hail storms. Here in south Texas, we seem to get such storms in the springtime. We can get short notice, so recently we have been piling on throw rugs, blankets, etc. to try and protect the car. I decided to get a real car cover. This one is really nice, it has a zipper so you can get to the driver's side and open the door. What?! That is such a nice feature! I might not ever need it, but it's still nice. I would still put blankets, etc. between this cover and the car, as these hail storms are terribly damaging. I like that Amazon has a feature where I can list the cars that I own and a little text box pops up and says that this will fit my car. All you have to do is add your car information. It's called Amazon Confirmed Fit. Pretty cool!

The desert sun is brutal on my car and a regular car cover doesn't help with the heat. With it's mylar-like coating, this one reflects the sun and deflects the heat. It makes a huge difference when the temperature outside is over 120'. It doesn't keep my car cool, but at least I feel like my car isn't baking. My cars have sustained so much heat damage in the past - I've had dashboards delaminate, wood trim crack and warp, and paint peel. Anything I can do to protect my investment I do and I'm really glad that someone is finally making a heat-reflective car cover.

This product doesn't hold up well to the weather. Tore in a mild wind. Not worth your money

I ordered this for my husband's Jeep Patriot. He works out of town and often has to leave his vehicle in an unprotected lot. Being springtime I was worried there would be a hailstorm come through and bust his windows leaving his interior exposed to rain and thieves. This cover was just what I was looking for. It has helped protect his car from the weather perfectly. It was easy for him to put on alone and stayed put even through heavy winds. Even in the event it doesn't keep the hail from busting his windows it should at least keep the rain out. Overall I'm very pleased with it!

The underside soft material treatment promises to minimize scratching and abrasion of the car finish from dirt that blows under. The securing strap locations of front, middle and rear provide all you need to ensure a good tight fit. It comes with a locking cable that took a minute to figure the lock out. The cover looks like it will last a long time.
