Q: Are these shades good for privacy?

These are not real solid and I would say would not provide great privacy. There are other options that would be better including using a high quality tarp.

Q: Is 6:5x13 the actual size or is that the size before sides were sewen

We cut the cloth lager than its actual size. Thanks.
