This mask took a little time to get used to it's character. Out of the box the fit was almost perfect. I have a well trimmed beard and mustache and it took some time before I had adjusted the tightness correctly. I have swum for over 10 years and this is the first time doing so with this kind of a full-face mask and snorkel system. I tightened both sides of the adjusting straps before getting a fit that is tight enough for preventing water from entering the free breathing area. Sometimes, if you accidentally turn your head slightly too far to the side, the water-stop feature closes preventing air from being able to pass freely inside. This surprised me at first and it took a little time before realizing the primary objective is keeping the head still in the water. Once I mastered that, the mask worked perfectly allowing good clear viewing and normal breathing. Unable to think of a better solution, I fitted the mask over my face while also removing my swim cap. This improves the fit and the watertight aspect of it was not compromised. I swam a mile before switching over to this mask, and continued with my 3 mile swim. It was comfortable once it was tight enough. For some reason, swimming while breathing freely under water, felt harder than with a smaller facemask design. I am confident that with continued practice, this will change as I feel more and more comfortable using this item. After completing 1250 yards with it, I switched back to another mask design. I will increase the distance with it daily and am confident that before long, it will feel very comfortable and I will probably not swim without it. A+

Works PERFECTLY. I’ve seen other reviews that say that the mask “fogs up” or lets water in—UNTRUE. If your mask is fogging up or water is getting in, then either the mask is too large for your face, or you haven’t tightened it properly/enough. Look, I swim every day but I could never get my breathing right on the crawl, so I invested in this mask. Not gonna lie; at first it DID get foggy and water DID leak into the mask. But after a week of trial & error (it’s my first full face mask), things *finally* clicked and I had my “ah-ha” moment: YOU HAVE TO TIGHTEN THE HECK OUT OF THIS MASK. Almost to the point where you can barely get it on your head. And THEN, you still need to properly adjust the position of the straps and tighten it some more once it’s on your head. And then it’s all easy peasy: no fogging and no leaks. I lap swim for 60 minutes a day with this mask on, and once I learned how to *really* adjust it to my face, I’ve had no problems since then. No problems breathing, no problems with leaks, no problems with water getting into the mask, no problems with the seal—NO PROBLEMS PERIOD. And btw, I am NOT some super special athlete. I just love swimming and this mask is PERFECT.

Just got this the other day and was a bit skeptical before I headed to try it out. It looks and feels big! I was right on the border between two sizes so I got the smaller size so my kids and wife could also try it. For better comfort, I would recommend the larger size. It worked for me but was a pretty tight fit. I thought it might be too big for my young kids but it worked great for them as well. They also tried a normal snorkel and had trouble with it, this one was much easier for them.One of the reasons I got it was because I think the standard snorkel mouthpiece is so uncomfortable to hold in your mouth while your snorkeling and having your nose plugged. This full face snorkel felt very natural and was much more comfortable which I really liked. One downside to the full face and larger snorkel tube was how big it felt, especially while diving under the water. When I would dive, I could really feel the resistance of the snorkel portion moving through the water and pulling on the mask due to the drag in the water. The seal worked really well though and it plugged when I went under and had breath again as soon as I came up. I didn’t have any trouble with water in the mask either.Overall it was a very cool snorkel, though not great if you’re looking for a more sleek design. Visibility was great though I did see a bit of fogging on the upper glass, not hindering though.

Oh my goodness!! I must say I didn't really expect much when I ordered this mask. I was blown away by the quality and coolness of it. I didn't buy it to snorkel, I wanted to find an easy way to clean the deep end of my pool.This thing is crazy cool!! It is very comfortable - the rubber around the mouth and nose area is soft, but great quality. No leaks at all.I took the advice of some other reviews and played with / adjusted the fit for my face in the shallow end of my pool. It only took a minute or two to get it just right.I spent the rest of the afternoon flipping and diving around in the pool!! I felt like a little kid. I certainly didn't expect to have fun with it, but this is great! It makes me want to plan a vacation to go snorkeling somewhere beautiful!!Anyway, I did get some cleaning done, but I had to share what a great product this is with anyone else on the fence about buying it. The valve at the top closes under water so no water gets in. You can exhale and exhaust bubbles out. The straps are large and comfortable. I wore a ponytail in the water and the mask slipped right over with no problem.The mask also comes with a waterproof phone jacket that has cool knobs at the top to seal it shut & a lanyard for carrying it around. Oh, and there's an attachment for a go pro camera if you should want to use it. The hardware is included for the attachment.I think you'll be very pleased with this item if you choose to buy it. I certainly was!!
