The Best Looking TV I have watched
I am a display guy, I worked in a research lab perfecting the flat display we all have in our home today. This display is amazing. With its infinite contrast ratio the blacks are black as coal and the whites knock your eyes out. When I first powered on the display I saw line defects and said "OH No! this will have to be returned" but in 24 hours the circuitry detected the defects and corrected them. Amazing. OLED is the best and the LG does it better than anyone.

I’d certainly buy one again, given the opportunity!
Now that I’ve had this tv for 6 months, I can say I really like it! Lots of adjustable features visually, and very good connectivity with Bluetooth and other devices! I think it’s plenty bright, amazing for gaming and it’s hard to fault! The only thing I’d like to see is a slightly more intuitive interface?! An update came out recently that seemed to work on this a bit, and I noticed some livability improvements, which any owner would appreciate. I think as this matures it’s going to be posh! Lots of visual feature adjustments (cinema, personal settings etc) for power management and keeping the health of your oled display. Clean visuals, great saturation of colors! This thing is a ripper and worth every cent! I’m hearing the G5 is even brighter, but if it is, you will probably turn it down even more than you sometimes do with this G4! It’s not an issue! Although there are slight improvements to the G5? The G4 should make anyone happy!! All though not perfect, it’s pretty close! Don’t hesitate!

Absolutely love it
We finally decided to retire our old Samsung plasma monitor, upgrading to this OLED G-series in 65”. The picture quality is noticeably superior w this new device. And it runs cool, unlike that old plasma one. I’m on the fence re: LG’s webOS interface, though. Old dogs and new tricks as they say; I’m used to navigating everywhere in AppleTV (we run an antenna plus Sling, Amazon Prime, Peacock, MHz, Britbox and Acorn, as well as YouTube and our Apple library). Fortunately, I have the option to still do that while enjoying everything in visual higher clarify. The hilt-in sound is an improvement over our previous set, although like most people we instead opt for the external soundbar(s) w subwoofer(s) to get better emersion. (FYI - don’t discard the packing styrofoam until you are positive you have the TV setup as you wish … you’ll need those 3 foam structures that came with the original box to hold the TV steady and in place both while you build the stand and anytime it’s not employed in its final resting place).

Received a LG G5 not the LG G4
The LG OLED G5 is an incredible television. The picture quality is stunning, and the brightness is honestly impressive—so much so that my wife frequently turns the brightness down, while I absolutely love how vivid and clear it is. The only reason for the 4-star rating is due to an ordering issue. I had ordered the LG OLED G4 with a stand, but instead received the G5, which comes with a wall mount only. All of my research and planning was based on the G4, so I didn’t realize the G5 didn’t include a stand until after opening the box and setting it up. Unfortunately, wall mounting isn’t an option for my space, so I had to purchase the stand separately. While I’m extremely happy with the TV itself, the mix-up caused extra cost and inconvenience that could have been avoided. That said, if you’re considering the G5 and plan to wall mount—or don’t mind ordering a stand separately—it’s an outstanding TV. Note this company sent me two separate tracking numbers. That was a bit confusing. One came from UPS. This was not the TV, but rather a notification that I need to call the other freight company to schedule a delivery. My initial thought was is this a fraudulent shipping company? It was not! All worked out good in the end.

The screen arrived with an issue... BUT!
I'll try to keep this short out of respect for attention spans these days. But the seller, Modia coordinated delivery swiftly. The palette arrived on a freight truck in great condition, but sadly there was an issue with vertical striping in the panel. This is where Vinny from Modia stepped in. I was uneasy, with this being such a big ticket item, my mind went straight to "is this a scam?" But nothing could be further from the truth! I provided Vinny photos and he arranged a replacement SO fast it darn well made gave me whiplash! Not only did the replacement get here AND had no issues whatsoever, but Vinny provided EXCEPTIONAL communication and coordinated the pickup of the defective unit. The TV's on the wall and looks GORGEOUS, and you simply couldn't ask for better customer service than Vinny with Modia. Exceptional! I simply couldn't be happier in the service I was provided. (Oh, and the TV is insane as well. Brilliant colors, butter smooth refresh rate. Looks surreal!)

RUN LIKE THE WIND MY FRIENDS!
WARNING TO ALL PEOPLE CONSIDERING THIS TV OR BUYING ANYTHING FROM LG! This tv is crap, but even worse is the customer service! If I were you I would RUN LIKE THE WIND! If I could give this 0 or negative stars, I would! I purchased this tv in April, it sat in the box in it's Styrofoam cacoon until I paid for it to be professionally mounted. First time turning it on, power issues! The tv just randomly shuts off without warning after varying amount of time. Could be 5 mins, could be 2 hours. Tried everything LG said to fix it with no luck. Finally get a repair guy out and he tells me that not only is the mother board fried which is why the power is malfunctioning, the panel screen is damaged even though there is no damage you can see with your naked eye both with the tv off or on, and the picture is fine. So what does LG say? So sorry for your luck but the warranty is void because the panel is damaged. It doesn't matter there's other things malfunctioning too like the tv's brain, the mother board. Oh and BTW, it's your fault for not realizing it fresh out of the box. REALLY? For me not realizing there's a cracked screen which I can't see with my naked eye? The only way the tv repair guy found it was by flipping it face down on its screen, opening up the back to see the innards and hooking up some sort of light machine. Then he could see a few little pixel things that were "cracked" because light looked different through them. So this is why its my fault. Spent countless minutes on the phone with LG and had two repair visits over four months since delivery for them to say your screwed. I spent extra fro Amazon for special delivery for them to bring it on the house and more for it to be mounted. I have purchased three Vizios in the past, paid a fraction of what this piece costs with not one issue. In fact they both still work fine! I will never again purchase anything LG touches!

Wowww What a tv!!
First time owning an oled tv and holy moly what a way to start. The colors are sooo gorgeous on this tv and the speakers actually pack a bit of punch, and while I’m not an audiophile or anything these speakers are really nice. But let’s get back to the tv, it’s super fast and once again the colors are absolutely GORGEOUSSSS and the brightness is amazing too even while my window is open. Bought it as “like new” and there’s not a single fingerprint on this tv and got like 200 off. Definitely would buy again and I can’t recommend this tv enough.
