It's Smallrig
I find it hard to say anything new about Smallrig products, they are like breathing, you just expect them to do their thing without fuss and they do. This is no exception to that rule, engineered to precise tolerances with all you expect from a camera cage without obstructing any of the camera functions or doors. A massive plus for me as a Videographer is the inclusion of the cable clamp for HDMI as I rely on a field monitor and routing cables is always an issue the more you add to the cage. It states suitable for RS 2 and 3, I can confirm it fits and balances on my RS 4 though I haven't used it with this yet so will report back if I encounter any issues,.

For shooting video with my Sony cameras, I prefer to put them into a rig setup, so needed a cage for the A9III as my previous A7IV cages did not fit. I have used SmallRig plates and cages for years, so quickly turned to the brand for this one as well and they continue to live up to the great reputation. The fit and finish of the cage itself is excellent and the fit to the camera body is perfect. This made it very easy to quickly rig up all of my other existing accessories. My only nitpick is the gray color of the cage which is a change from all of my previous SmallRig accessories that have always been black. I'm not sure why they decided to have a color change for this cage, but that is really irrelevant to the function of the cage, so it's not anything I'm really worried about. With the A9III still being fairly new on the market, there are not a large number of cage options available yet, but this one does not disappoint.
