Lightweight Super Soft Natural Kapok Fiber and Tencel Throw Blanket 51” x 73”, Travel Blanket, Taupe Color.

This blanket has exceeded my expectations! It's super soft and comfy without overheating you. We've used this in both spring and summer and it's the perfect blend of keeping you just warm enough without overheating you. Bonus is that it comes with a travel bag if you wanted to take it on the go. 10/10 would recommend!

I received the dark grey color.The 'Travel Blanket' moniker is probably because this 80% Kapok/20% Tencel blanket is very similar in texture and thickness to the blankets that they hand out on airplanes for overnight travel. The blanket is thin but will keep you warm like a more midweight blanket. The material is really nice and soft and I really do like the smooth texture of it. It has a nice, casual look to it but a wonderfully luxurious feel to it.The blanket comes in a felt pouch with a faux leather flap that adheres via two snaps the pouch is about 13"x15" in size. The pouch is esthetically pleasing to look at--the grey felt of the pouch has a sort of retro slik-screen lettering and icons on the front with simple information stated about the banket the tagline, '1st Class Coziness For First Class Cabin' below. The back has an appliqué with a woman serenely reclining back in her first class, airline, window seat.The major problems with the pouch are three fold. First, it's way to large to casually stow in a small carryon bag (bags that airlines are demanding that they are smaller every year). Figuring out a compact storage method would make this blanket more practical for travel.Two, the inside of the pouch is felt--which is not smooth. The friction between the pouch and the blanket makes it difficult to replace the blanket in the pouch.Finally, the pleather highlights are decidedly not natural in an otherwise all-natural product and have a very pronounced, acrid vinyl odor on unboxing. In spite of being shipped in its own thin, mylar sheath, some of this odor was transferred to the blanket. All is well after 24 hours of degassing--sort of like you need to do for a memory foam product--but was not expected in a product of this kind. Especially one that is all natural fiber.One more thing: the pouch is not waterproof--if you are traveling this is something that I think is pretty important.All this did not take away from my enjoyment of the banket. I love this thing. I may not take it along on my journeys, but using it right here at home while lounging on the couch is a little slice of luxury that I truly enjoy. Recommended.

This blanket was perfect for my trip. I like the fabric bag because I can even slip my laptop inside of it as well as the blanket. The blanket is soft and it's larger than most airplane blankets, plus it's your own. The only thing is to pay attention to how you take the blanket out and how it's folded... just so you can fold it back the same way it came, in order to fit the perimeters of the carrying case! This blanket worked great, and fits nice in the seat back pocket as well!

The packaging makes me think of the airplane travel blankets. And funnily, maybe it was designed intentionally this way, as it further reminds me of airplane blankets after testing it out. The blanket itself is fairly light, and the color makes it seemingly go along with anything.Not sure if it's the combination of the color or material, but it definitely gives off a feeling of travel blanket. Something good to have in the car as well for emergencies.

I really really wanted to like this blanket. It seemed super convenient for travel, it's lightweight, and made with great material.But I have to be honest, when I opened the package I was disappointed. The color is darker than appears in the listing and is an unpleasing light brown. The fabric is soft, but not particularly cozy or comforting. It washes okay, but literally took 3 whole cycles to finally dry properly. And lastly, it just really really reminds me of those hideous and onerous bed comforters from old school 70's motels.Maybe it's just not for me. But I just don't love it.

I love how soft this blanket is. It is very lightweight but warm. Large enough to cover a large/tall person. Light to carry with you on a plane. I keep it in the back of my car and pull it out whenever we are out at kids sports activities, a park, or when I just get a little chilly.Would make a great gift.

This blanket is pretty large which is really nice! It’s really thin, but if you’re using it as a throw blanket during the warmer months then it works really well.

This is a very lightweight and soft blanket. It's much larger than a blanket you would get from an airline. It provides warmth while still being breathable. It's very versatile, after I got back from my trip I began using it at home daily on the couch. It's high quality and I'm very happy with it.
