These quick connections make it easy to move your hose from one place to another. So often the water source is in and inconvenient place where I have to kneel down in mud or on gravel and fight with the threading on the hose and spigot. This makes it easier as I get older and less patient. I use them as the connector to my mobile hose reel. I can move the hose to another spigot if I have the matching side on each of the spigots. This way I can avoid having to fight through the bushes around the house and screw each hose on every time I want to move it. I have found it especially useful on my pressure washer, since the connection on the washer is low and finicky. Now I keep this on the power washer and can connect or disconnect the input hose much more easily. I also keep this on the last length of hose on the coil so that I can extend it by another 100 ft coil as need be. The nipple end of the hose is fine as the endpoint with nothing else attached. And if I want to attach a sprinkler or hand nozzle, I attach the matching connecter to that rather than unscrewing the nipple end. I am at six sets now. Rather expensive for an unnecessary convenience, but it really is convenient.

These make it so easy to quickly and easily attach and detach different nozzles to the hose. My husband thought it was a silly product until he started using them. Now he loves them! They are not only very easy to use they are very heavy and solidly made. Nice product!

I have gone through a ton of these quick couplers over the years, purchased from all the Big Box Stores. These are absolutely the best I have seen yet. Appear to be machined brass, the hose and faucet couplers fit together with a nice, positive click and are well seated, snug with no wobble. Set of 2, ideal for split faucet, a wash brush on a pole with a hose connection, even fits my extension post that came with just the male part of a quick-connect set.
