Coronation 1.5 Litre Blue Plain Rubber Hot Water Bottle

Best hot water bottle I've bought in years. The ribs are nice and deep, so it's not so hot to handle, and it doesn't smell awful like some can. Someone reviewed it and mentioned the narrow hole - it is a bit narrower than some, but I haven't found it to be problematic. The green colour is exactly as pictured.

Very strong & thick, better quality than my last one (a High Street purchase). This helps it stay warmer for longer.

This is a lovely hot water bottle, it has a mild scent of lavender. It is the second one I have bought, so I can have warm toes and back! Would certainly recommend.

This is my new favourite thing. I haven't had a hot water bottle since I was a kid, but my flat has no central heating, so the bedroom can be Baltic come bedtime if I forget to stick the radiator on, the bed most of all, so I figured I'd give one of these a go. Other makes had dodgy reviews, but I've zero complaints about quality on this one. It seals well and even with water not long off the boil the ribbing makes it safe to handle. Seems to let the heat out at just the right rate--toasty as you could want but not blasting the heat out so fast it's cooled down in fifteen minutes. I was surprised just how long this wee thing stays warm.

I initially thought these were excellent. They felt very good quality, and they have proper stoppers with a washer so no chance of leaks there, and they are a great size.The only real complaint I had initially was that the strong scent supposedly intended to mask the rubbery smell, was more overpowering than the usual hot rubber smell. Thankfully it subsided after a week or so.However, and this really highlights why reviews immediately after purchase are pointless, just 9 months later, the rubber has become sticky and perished on all 3 bottles. The strands of thread you can see stuck to one of the bottles are what ripped off of the inside of one of the covers which was embroidered.Curiously, it was the ribbed side which went sticky and leaked on all three.Sadly, then, despite very positive initial impressions, I'd avoid these.

I like this hot water bottle. Used to buy this brand locally, but recently can't find it. Heat lasts a long time and the ridges stop you getting too hot.

Quite nice, pink is a bit mauvey & size is a little smaller than expected

I liked the way it easily unscrews when emptying.It is well made the only thing is i have had make a satin case for it as it does not slide on cotton sheets even on the non ridged side!
