This MacBook was rarely used and mostly kept idle. When I recently tried to power it on, it was totally dead. The repair center checked and said it was not repairable—and even if repaired, the cost would be nearly the same as buying a new one. Very disappointing for such an expensive product. My advice: better invest in a first-hand new device for reliability.

The charger I received with the MacBook doesn’t work and it seems it’s not original part.

Excellent display and speaker quality!!The battery life is reasonable too! Lasts around 6-8 hrs!!

Keyboard light not working properly. 2 C-type ports are not working . Came with locked and password not given and I contacted seller to get password and it was hectic process. There was visible starches.

After an initial mix up where the seller sent the wrong item, this was resolved fairly quickly and I received the right model last week.I’m upgrading from a 13” model so this is a lovely piece of hardware and a big step up for my work flow as the 16” screen size will make working so much easier! Apple have reverted back to their butterfly keys again so the keyboard is a joy to use compared with the previous (early 2019) 15” model. Other improvements are the bigger screen, less bevels and the ESC key is back! Makes a big difference, despite it seeming like small incremental changes. I’m looking forward to using it.Note: as this is an Amazon Renewed purchase, the machines are slight seconds so may have some cosmetic imperfections, but they are very minor and in no way impede the performance of the laptop. My advice would also be to check the spec when you receive the item and contact the seller via Amazon if you have any questions as he’s quick to respond. The seller was very helpful when I realised I had been sent the wrong model by mistake and paid for the return of the wrong item when he sent me the right one. Good customer service 👍🏼
