Love this bag, cute and sturdy!

I enjoy Laurel Burch's artwork, and I prefer fabric handbags because they are lighter in weight, so I have been shopping for the perfect bag from her collection. Most are a weird size, kind of on the small side, and/or the straps aren't as long as a tall girl prefers. This is perfect, I can put all the stuff I need with me and have room left over, and it's not too heavy. Colors are bright and the bag is sturdy. We have a winner!

Love Laurel Burch's designs and purses; purchased this one on Oct 11. Per the product description there is a removable bottom support inside. The one I received didn't have one so I returned it for a replacement. It arrived today and it too is missing it. I've turned the purse upside-down and inside-out and cannot locate it. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a hidden secret compartment that maybe it slides in and out of that I can't seem to find? I love everything else about it and will keep it, but the support comes in handy (have it in other purses) for hiding important papers or other valuables from view should it get lost or stolen. This bag is okay, would probably give 3.5 stars if that were an option. The size and style are fine, but the canvas is rougher and stiffer than I was expecting, and arrived wrinkled, and is still somewhat is wrinkled in spots, even filled. This is a more subdued LB print, which I knew when I chose it; nonetheless, I had anticipated it being a bit brighter than it is. It's fine for winter, I guess. I use it as a daily handbag, and bought a LB cosmetic bag set to use with this to keep the interior organized, since there is only the one pocket. A definite "star" deduction for the useless bottom/base insert. It is cardboard covered with a cheap fabric and is unsecured so it shifted around. I'm not using it. They shouldn't have bothered. I'll keep the bag because it serves my purposes well enough (roomy and lightweight, yet sturdy) but will probably try another more colorful LB for the spring. I purchased another style and print as a gift, and in contrast that one is softer canvas and has a brighter print. It also has the fabric interior which I prefer to this unlined bag with a partial plastic lining. Overall, not bad but not the greatest example of Laurel Burch handbags.

The box came and I was so excited to see what the bag looked like in person, I did and I didn't want to open the box ! Oh, the anticipation ... Then I did. And I was crushed. It's too small for me to use for my sewing class I had intended it for. I had studied ALL of the feline Burch bags and just knew this was the one. Especially after finding the one I wanted on joann.com was out of stock (oooh, mad mad mad!) I love these spotted cats ... love all the embellishments, kinda disappointed that there is only the one inside zippered pocket, thought there were more, but again reeling from the other store's let-down, I guess I just missed that detail. The size of this bag is okaaay... but I needed something about 15" tall, not so much 15" wide. I have made a reorder for the autumn cats (it's blue and I love blue, but I sooo wanted this bag ... )Anyway ... small and only one pocket, this is an okay tote for pretty small (short) stuff. Cat lovers and fans of Ms. Burch won't be disappointed. If it wasn't for the price, I'd keep it.

This is a cute tote that I selected because it’s just the right size for my needs. It’s sturdy, functional and with Laurel Burch designs it’s perfect! It’s definitely appropriate to gift a friend, too.
