I like the different shapes and these will be a great addition to the starter set my granddaughter has.

Don't be put of with the rrp of these , lok at the weight of 2.3kg for just 60 pieces thsi alone gives you a idea of the quality of the materials used and the density of the magnets.these are perfect for smaller hands and i would agree with the age range being 3yrs and up, these are very sturdy and can (i don't recommend it ) be dropped on the floor or accidently thrown.What i really like about this kit it's a starter kit and other kits can be added to it .This is a fantastic introduction to 3d shapes , it's a toy to encourage the imagination and a fantastic stem tool in teaching children .Would make a wonderful gift or teaching tool, excellent value for money and great quality materials used in the building of these

I was surprised at the weight of the box when received, it's quite heavy considering it's only got 60 various shaped tiles inside but this assures me that these are good quality and I have to admit that these are made really well in comparison to a cheaper set we bought for our son last year.The set is quite comprehensive for a starter pack with various sized squares and triangles in a range of clear colours and they connect to each other really well. Making 3 dimensional objects is very interesting and promotes imagination for kids who can explore the shapes, colours, hand to eye coordinating skills etc etc and are very useful for children aged 3 and up.The price is quite expensive though at £75 at time of review but this seems to be in keeping with other sellers and the set is very good quality.The magnets are strong too and the whole set comes in handy for all manners of early learning, from physical attributes to maths and learning engineering techniques.The plastics used are also safe for children, considering some kids will put things into their mouth these are made from BPA free food grade plastics.A fantastic little booklet is also included to give you some ideas for making various objects. I would have liked the kit to have included some wheels too as some ideas inside the booklet show vehicles. My little boy particularly likes making toy cars etc so maybe the manufacturer should consider putting some inside the starter packs.The brand seems to be very popular too and they make a range of kits from these to ball runs etc.I like the fact that the box that these come in is also large enough to pack them away easily in any order and the box is sturdy enough for lots of opening and closing. This makes it easier for parents/kids, teachers etc to pack away when not being played with.I've only deducted a star due to the price as this may be prohibitive for some people and would love to see them somewhat cheaper.Other than that this is a very good quality set and has a vital amount of fun and education for early learners.
