This is an excellent addition to a TV backlight. If you go into the GOVEE app you can sync this device to a TV backlight with a camera. You can add up to five lights.I recommend this for either a TV backlight or general ambience in the room at night.

This is a great product that is extremely easy to set up, sync with Alexa and your tv. Before purchasing make sure you know if you want it on the back of the tv or setting on a surface below. It makes a very big difference. If you want something that will make your TV pop and double as a small lamp this it’s all in one. A must have for the TV or Living Room

The media could not be loaded. Great addition to my DreamView setup. Needed light for the middle part of my entertainment stand where my sound bar sits. Works well with my other light bars in the side cabinets, Backlight 3 Lite, RGBIC light strip and Govee bulbs in lamp. Love how the add ons are endless.

On initial set up and use of just few days I love this little light barI'm 74 and I set this up in less than 10 min. Playing with Govee App took about same time for basic functions.The backlighting is great and now my room is lighted during night when I sleepwalk to bathroom.I'll decide later if I want to use adhesive pads. Currently it just sits on TV stand behind TV.All in all it's great! I would definitely buy again and highly recommend.Colors in photos are actually less bright in my room. The Govee App allows many many color variations. Just set up and create color palate for favorite colors and patterns. Eezee Peezee

The media could not be loaded. It’s really sets a vibe in the bedroom and looks great, it has plenty of color setting to match what you want in the room, we just set our behind the TV instead of mounting on the back of TV, it still works perfectly!

I bought these lights just a little over a year ago, and overall I’m pleased with them. I bought them because standard strip lighting does not work well with the shape of my ultra flat TV, something I did not consider on purchasing the TV.The lighting effects that these can produce are really impressive, at times you can see what appears to be the individual LEDs and the effects are somewhat more granular or pixelated than other lights from GOVEE.The issue I have with these lights is that they are not able to produce cool, white and warm white, and they do not render colors like other bulbs from GOVEE. Colors on these lights tend to be brighter than every other light source I have from Govee, including their lightbulbs and their floor lamps. Although I knew about the white rendering, I did not realize how annoying it would be to see warm, white and cool, white rendered poorly on these TV lights. If you want to truly seamless and integrated looking product, I suggest you look elsewhere as these aren’t quite there. If you don’t care or are using these in a room where you don’t have any other light sources from Govee, then go for it — you’ll love them.
