Good selection of inserts, they are of good quality and hold very well.I will just buy top up packs as required.

Used these in UPVC window frames to secure window screens - I've used heat-set inserts before and these are just as good as the ones I've used previously. Good kit with a decent assortment. The ones I haven't used will be good for stock.

These have now been used on several 3D models where inserts are needed. Fitting them using a soldering iron is very simple just take your time. Once fitted the inserts are very solid as look as you don’t over tighten them.

I’d never heard of heat set inserts before but the instructions for a 3D print design I was working on suggested them as a neat ‘factory finish’ look on an enclosure.I picked this kit up on Amazon as there was a decent selection of sizes at a good price and with next day delivery available.I was not disappointed - coupled with a compatible insert tip for my soldering iron, these look great!

The outer diameter of these inserts is a little too narrow compared to other inserts I have purchased in the past (3.5mm OD x 4mm Vs 4.6mm OD x 5.7mm) & as a result, are more prone to strip/tear out, but for the price, they are reasonably well machined I just wish they were a bit thicker walled to increase the surface area for these small inserts)It may not sound like much, but the difference mathematically is around 87% ((DiaXPi)*height) additional surface area (practically probably less when you consider the actual knurled sections only but it's just an illustrative comparison), which for small fixings has quite an impact considering the forces that can be exerted on them when hand-tightening fixings.

I purchased the 'kit' version of this meaning i should have gotten everything, including the soldering iron parts, all i got was the knurled threads part, hows that a 'kit' ?Even shows it on the last image i should have gotten the soldering iron parts too

I use the M6, M5 & M3 in my 3D printed products, never an issue as long as you follow the correct hole sizes

These inserts do exactly what I wanted them to do. Easy to use (with a good insert tool). Good quality.

Inserts utilisés en impression 3D, ils remplissent leurs rôles sans problème. Ras, le format est bien indiqué et l’insertion se fait facilement.
