Only tool you need is a razor blade if you have the aeroblades
4 stars based on the aggregate of the following:Easy to install 4/5 - need to cut out sections of rubber track in aeroblade system (see photos)Value for money 3/5 - not sure why a few pieces of plastic is priced this much... Main reason I didn't buy one for many years.Easy to assemble 5/5 - I followed the directions and everything came together without tools in like 10-15 mins.Yeah it cuts down on air noise and looks kinda cool. Though the inside of a 2005 Honda Accord sounds like a spaceship entering the atmosphere while you're driving down the highway regardless of having a roof rack or not.

*2018 WRX with OEM Thule crossbarsThis wind screen looked promising from pictures, but really does not fit well on the car. Nothing really lines up style-wise between the rack and screen and it just looks bad. Remove it within about 5 min of install and returning. I will just turn up the radio to cover the wind noise from the rack. For what this cost, I expected much better quality and appearance.I would recommend another option if you are particular about the looks of your vehicle.

Eliminates whistle sound from aeroblades, but still a fair amount of wind noise
Installation took about 30-45 mins... the instructions could be clearer, but they were fine. Cost is insane for a piece of plastic that I need because their aeroblades whistle at 30+ mph (so pretty much always). FWIW, my Audi rack on my Q5 never whistled. This was for my Audi A5 and the Audi rack for this model is a piece of junk... two broke on me (one actually came broken, the other broke when I went to install it... and no, I wasn't rough with it at all). This fairing did eliminate the whistle, but on the highway the wind noise is significant. Oh well, I just need it for the Winter months.

Sleek
Very easy installation I didn’t even read the instructions I just skimmed through the pictures and put everything together within a few minutes. I got the 44in fairing for my MKIV 2002 Volkswagen GTI. The fit is as desired and does it’s job perfectly. One problem that I did came across were the attachments. When fitting the fairing to my OEM Volkswagen cross bar they’re not a perfect fitment. You’re going to have to improvise. What I did was use the square cross bar attachments and then use black zip ties to secure it. Overall it looks awesome. I’ll buy again if I have to in the future.

Totally silenced my VW factory roof rack that howled very loudly! Just to help the VW folks out there - I did have to modify the clips that came with the product by cutting off a piece of the clip and then I also had to rivet the clips to my roof rack. My reccomendation would be to also buy the Thule roof rack for a more direct fit and ditch the factory racks. Thule products rock!

Worth the Money from Thule - 2019 Pathfinder
Dec 6th, 2020*Update*This AirScreen is worth it! I just finished a 10 hour road trip to Utah from Socal (and back - another 10 hours) and it did the job well and looks great too! No other review other than, I am glad I purchased it. Very Happy still!Nov 5th, 2020It looks good and is functional. I purchased and installed the fairing on my 2019 Pathfinder with a Malone aero crossbar rack. The airscreen I used for my 2019 Pathfinder is the 44" (part # 8702). It fits right inside the roof rails. The good thing is... they do take the wind noise out. I drove it about 15 miles on the freeway (65-75mph) and no noise was found. The bad is... the aero clips that comes with fairing is made for the Thule aero cross bars. I bought the Malone crossbars which was significantly cheaper and great quality. It still hooks to the bar from the bottom but at the top the hooks just sit there. It seemed fine the way it was, but to be sure, I additionally used zip-ties to secure each clips and works great.Just remember if you get it don't expect a perfect fit with a 3rd party crossbar. If that bugs you... you'll need to purchase the Thule Aerobars also.

Awesome product. Made a slight mod...
In the box comes two different sets of mounts for different thinckness cross bars, I have an odd shaped cross bar so this was my third fairing I’ve tried. The smaller mounts didn’t fit at all and so I tried the long ones, they fit, but not the way it was intended. As you can see in the picture I had to mod the mounts with hose clamps and used them to secure the fairing to my crossbars. With that being said, this is a truly universal fairing and can be mounted on any size crossbar, you will just have to buy 3 hose clamps to secure it.As far as length goes, the one pictured is the 32”. It doesn’t go end to end of my roof but stopped the whistle and wind noise completely. Would def recommend.

Mixed feelings
So let’s start with the pros. It’s sleek. Looks cool. Easy to assemble. Eliminated 100% of that awful whistling as I go down the highway. I have it on a 2021 Willys Wrangler.Cons. On a windy day, I about lost it. Was sitting in a parking lot and listening to it slap around on the roof as the wind blew from different directions. I thought it was going to come off, so get up there and removed it. Also, it DID come off when going through a Carwash. I’ve owned several wind fairings on suvs in the past that did just fine in car washes.So. I’ll just remove it every time I go into a car wash. Which is twice a month for me.

Reduced the noise
It took me a while to commit to buying this as it's alot of cash for no benefit other than less noise. It's not available to buy in the UK as I guess it hasn't got the CE stamp of approval - US amazon was a way round this.Ended up getting in the black friday season. Still expensive but has worked in reducing the wind noise from the bars. I got the 44" for my Audi A6 C7 estate. This only just fits between the roof rails, but all feet are firmly in contact with the roof and I didn't have to result to sawing bits off. Most tricky bit was getting the decals stuck to the roof in the right place especially if it's windy.Fitted under the 4 bike racks so it's not going anywhere. Also put black tape over the name so it's less noticable.

Does NOT fit on a sportrack roofrack although.....
The product looks great and really helps to reduce noise while driving. It also seems to slightly improve my cars fuel economy.I have a sportrack brand roof rack and this product does not fit out of the box as it is designed for a thule roof rack. The sportrack bars are slightly too big for the wind faring connectors. Although this is not a big issue I added 2 zip ties around each of the connectors and it holds strong.

Pricey but nice (if it fits your rack)
I got the 44" model for my mk7 Golf and it's the right size for the car. I did run into an big issue getting it fitted to the roof rack tho. I have a SportsRack brand roof rack and this did not fit at all. The claps were too small, what I did was cut the rubber wrap around off 2 of the 4 sizes of the bar and the claps snapped into place. I'll update this review after i drove more with it.

Flimsy, barely works.
This was a replacement for a 15 year old Thule fairing. The new one does not reduce the wind noise nearly as much. As with all newer Thule products this is much flimsier and weaker than their previous products. I've been a die hard Thule fan for over 25 years but finally have decided to check out the competition. Maybe they're still well made?
