Bottom Line Up Front: This fan is near perfect; the one small problem is nowhere near a dealbreaker or even worth taking a star away. This is for people who live in dry climates.I got this because it was available overnight for early delivery. I live on a top floor condo in Colorado and my condenser fan motor died while I was cooking dinner. I ordered this anticipating that I was going to bake in the near 100 degree heat the next day. That turned out to be a good call.While it was 90 in my condo, it was cool and comfortable sitting with this fan. Now that my AC is back up and running, this fan has another benefit of doing a great job cooling my second floor loft without having to run the AC harder. This will pay for itself almost immediately because of how much higher I can set the thermostat without my loft being uncomfortably hot.Usually it's about 10-30% relative humidity here. About 2-3 feet from the fan you can feel a good 20 degree temperature drop with the mist function on if it's exceptionally hot and dry. I cannot stress enough what a lifesaver this is when it's 90 inside and you have no other way to cool yourself down. The box states that it puts about 150ml/hr of water into the air. That seems accurate as I use a little more than a quart of water in it during an 8 hour workday.The cooling effect is less pronounced in a room that's already cool, but if your home has poor thermal performance, the chilly air completely overpowers the radiant heat coming from the ceiling and exterior walls. Massive comfort boost.All in all it's the best desk fan I've ver had. Quiet and efficient, you don't have to worry about battery life - it's excellent. Makes your room much more comfortable. I put bottled water in it and will probably eventually dose it with bacteriostat for humidifiers.Pros:- This fan runs while charging and charges up very fast.- Battery runs quite a long time, I haven't exhausted it yet even after letting it run for several hours without being charged. Great for when the power is out.- The mist function, if you live in a dry climate, makes this fan blow absolutely ice cold air. You will be chilly.Cons:- The fill hole is a little on the small side so you usually spill a little water.- I'm not sure the light function was well thought out. You need to be 2-3 feet away from the fan for the cooling to be pleasant, at that distance the light is blaring bright like headlights. At farther distances the light is too dim. I don't really have a use for this function and I activate it accidentally all the time. If it were soft white and angled down at the table or straight up at the ceiling it would be a far more useful feature.- I wouldn't mind if the water reservoir was twice as big.

Great relief for hot summer days! Would be great for camping as well. I take it with me when I line dance because it gets very hot in the place I go. It has a mister, a light and is rechargeable! Fan has 3 settings. I also use it on my nightstand every night to help me stay cool. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

The product feels a bit fragile and not that durable, BUT, when you turn on the fan you are then surprised at how strong and quiet the fan really is. The mist will also surprise you because it sprays a fine mist that does not get you wet and soaked but rather a cool refreshing feel. I would recommend this mister if you were using for a picnic or camping and needed a small fan with a nice mister. This is so far a good purchase.

Ladies, if you are dying several times a day from hot flashes, this fan will be your new bestie!! I bought this fan to bring to an outdoor summer bluegrass concert because it has a misting option. Just pour some water in the top, open the cap and push a button. You will have a glorious mist, allowing you to keep dancing to the music through even the worst hot flash! Other women (younger and my age) complimented me on my fan. It is small enough to fit in a clear, stadium approved 12x12x6 tote bag and still have room for a thin jacket and water bottle. It is powerful enough to place on the ground and feel the breeze on your face. The battery lasts a long time too. When not traveling with me to see live music, this fan lives on my kitchen counter, always within easy reach. It is one of a horde of fans that I keep around me to survive the "best" years of my life.

My agility performance dog often has to wait in his crate for short periods between our turns at a trial. Since dogs can't sweat (and evaporating sweat is how WE cool off), I wanted a misting fan. This is the third kind I bought and it's exactly what I need. It's small and portable but powerful. The mist is perfect. The battery is rechargeable and so the fan does not have to be plugged in to work. I can't attest to the longevity of the battery yet because I haven't used it for any length of time. And rest assured my dog and I would prefer air conditioning but this fan (and a cooling jacket) helps out in the hot weather during a competition. The only problem I note is that the mist cannot be used with the fan hanging from the provided hook. I will have to rig something up to hang it in the upright position for the misting function.

I ordered the fan and used it maybe 4-5 times at kids sporting events in 90+ degree heat. It was great. The fan blew strong, the mist was refreshing. It was great. Until it stopped working. About 15 minutes into my son's game yesterday, the fan died. This was after being plugged in the whole night before after using it another game the night before. When I got home, I plugged it in and didn't see the light coming on indicating it was charging. Still, left it plugged in all night and the next morning, it died after 60 seconds of running.Unfortunately, I didn't save the owner's manual so don't know who to contact for warranty repair as it looks like my Amazon return window closed 5 days ago.I can't say with certainty if the charging port got wet. Maybe a little? Given that the spot for pouring water is directly above the charging port, it is possible as it is impossible to pour water into this without a little spillage, but given the nature of the product, it should be able to handle a moisture. But can't say with certainty if that's the issue or not.A point of advice for others, when putting water in the fan, rotate the fan so that the base is not directly under the hole where you put the water. Wish I would've thought of that before it was too late.
