BEST for the money
This chuck really surprised me, I did not expect it to be of this quality, matches ones by name brand mfgrs. The taper mount is dead on and holds fast, the chuck holds drill bits with little effort to tighten the chuck. I even used it with a 1/2" enf mill to surface my beat up old mill vise, with no problems, not even a wobble. Anyone asks me or if I should need another I will buy this one again

Modeled after an albreight chuck, which is verya high end.

Cheap knockoff
The performance of this chuck is very poor in comparison to the Albrecht it's obviously meant to be a copy of. It's ok for small drills used in soft materials, but is very prone to slippage with larger bits or when drilling into harder materials.

High quality. Works great. Also will accept drill bits down to 1/32. It has the Jacobs standard taper, so was easy to install.

Great value and has quality feel. Hold drill bit very well with just light twist. So much better then my old Jacob chuck.....and NO key needed!
