This is a great toy set with tons of accessories for bug wranglers! The additional tools - grabbers, tweezers, terrarium, net, binoculars, and light - are of great quality, very sturdy and durable. The vest and hat will easily fit children between 4 and possibly up to 7 without issues, and they look stellar. My only complaint is the telescoping viewer was not included in the box, but there were so many other items the kids didn't notice. Overall a much better value than some similar purchases I've made, and I recommend for anyone who has a little bug hunter in their life!

Got this for my three year old. The costume pieces fit her well, but she is on the taller side (45 inches). Includes tons of little bug catching items and pieces for exploring, such as a compass with a built in whistle and binoculars.Very cool kit. The bug container that came with it has a built-in magnifying glass that can be moved around without having to open the container which was pretty neat. The lantern has three modes: flashlight, strobe light, and lantern. You will need to provide your own AA batteries (two of them). The two tweezers in the set are a bit cumbersome and likely won't help you catch real bugs, but work for the included plastic bugs. However, the bug catching scissor-like things seem like they can certainly be used to help grab bugs without having to actually touch them, and there are two types of them: a big capsule type, and a longer clear one that is similar to pliers.The kit also included some bug identification cards that you or your little one can fill out with information about the bugs, and also has room to glue or tape a small picture of the bug on the card.Overall I feel that this kit can definitely bring out the little entomologist in your kiddo and comes with the necessary items to capture and admire said bugs, although I would recommend avoiding the wasps :)

This was perfect for a little 3-4 year old. Kit is well made and looks great. The tools and toys feel like they're quality and stand up to toddler play, and they work. Kit comes with a convenient storage bag for all the tools.

I ordered the kit without the costume. There are so many awesome pieces! I know that my grands will just love these. I am happy to find entertainment that encourages exploration of the outdoors and sparks lifelong learning. The bug catcher, the viewing box... my favorites! This is a toy that both boys can enjoy together. The materials are good, but my grands can be a little rough, so hopefully the pieces will hold together, guess that won't be the toy's fault if they don't! The little scissor things seem a little delicate.

I ordered this kit for my daughter as she likes to play dress up and explore different things. This kit is well made and looks great as well. The tools and toys are quality as well, standing up to standard play well and they also work! The kit comes with a bag to store everything in and the many tools give kids a way to capture and examine bugs and feel good while doign it.

My 3 year old has done nothing but hunt for bugs for the last 3 days since I gave him this set. It’s actually a very well made set, with good quality tools! The fake bugs it comes with have been fun too, because he likes to hide them around the house and “catch” them when we can’t be outside catching real ones. The set comes with so many fun things. He caught a butterfly in his net and was so excited! I’m very impressed with the quality of everything and how much was included. It is definitely worth the money!
