Picked up the Itsy Bitsy Party Co's decoration set for my niece's birthday, and it was a pastel dream come true. The array of honeycomb balls, paper fans, and the adorable ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ banner brought instant cheer to the room. The pastel colours were soft and joyous, a perfect match for the playful vibe we were going for.Setting up was easy - everything folds out and hangs up within minutes, and because it's all reusable, no tear-down guilt of throwing away single-use decorations. The variety of decorations gave us the flexibility to create a few different looks over various birthdays, which is a real money-saver.While the overall quality is fantastic, the paper material does mean you need to handle them with a bit of care. One of the honeycomb balls tore a bit when I was too hasty during setup. Also, the raffia ribbon was a touch short for spreading out the letters as much as I’d like across the wall.It's not just for birthdays; you can switch up the bunting letters for other events, making it a versatile kit.If you're looking for an instant party mood lift without a hassle, this set is a great choice. What a lovely alternative to latex balloons! And everything is so beautifully packaged.It comes in a slim cardboard box, with most items inside separately packed in their own very pretty little brown bag, which is both really sweet, and lends an air of 'special-ness' to the proceedings. I really hope that these will last and last, as they feel very much like they could become a family tradition, from pulling out the box through to laying out the letter bunting to see what you can spell before threading it up, opening up all the colourful balls and fans, right through to taking everything down and folding and packing it away again, for future use. The whole thing just feels very...traditional and homely.The paper tissue balls are nicely cut and beautifully coloured in rainbow pastel shades, and the use of hook and loop squares to hold them open is just inspired. The gold letter flags are of a good size, and you're even provided with raffia ribbon to thread them onto. The one thing that I think might not survive so well is the paper swirls, which seem a bit too delicate to make it past two or three uses, but I guess we'll see. The two sets of bunting are a nice addition to fill out the decs.I went to their site as well, and am now also in love with their Wedding set in pure white, which I think would look lovely suspended from our roof this Christmas! I do think a great idea might be to offer extra pieces for larger venues/garden parties, such as a larger assortment of honeycombs-only pack to be bought alongside a banner set such as this, as larger venues need a lot to have effect!But this really is a wonderful start, and I have a feeling I'll be back to this shop several more times yet!

I really like this decoration set. First impressions were excellent - the company clearly pride themselves on being an eco-friendly choice and the thought that has gone into the packaging (no unnecessary plastic, everything comes in individual envelopes) gives the product a premium feel. Included in this set are paper bunting letters (you can spell Happy Birthday, Happy Easter, Happy New Year, Happy Eid or Party Day), spiral streamers, small round bunting circles, traditional triangular bunting and a selection of different sized hanging 'lantern' shapes. Everything is made from paper, the lanterns seal with velcro and are tissue paper on the inside. There's a long string to hang up the bunting that isn't pre-strung. Also included was a small plastic pin to pierce the pre-stamped holes in the bunting.The selection of rainbow pastel colours is beautiful and any table or room will look gorgeous with these to enhance it. The decorations are intended to be reusable, and I think as long as you are careful with them, they should last for a fair few parties. The tissue paper on the hanging lantern shapes is quite flimsy, and everything else is comprised of thin card, so it will be prone to small tears/bends etc. Even though I fully intend to use it for kid's parties, I won't let them put the decorations up as I think they're a bit too fragile for overly enthusiastic sticky hands!Would absolutely recommend this product, it's a lovely alternative to foil or balloon decorations and will add the finishing touches to any party.
