The YOYOSTUDIO S03 Bi metal Yoyo is definitely a competition level yo-yo.What comes in its box? We have the Bi metal Yoyo S03, 10 blue strings, 1 yo-yo glove and a plastic bag with a bearing puller, shaft spanner and a concave bearing (for responsive play).Looking at the yo-yo itself, I chose red. The colour is pure and beautiful with no flaws. The engraving ensures brand recognition, which is always good in my book. The transition between the aluminium and steel rings is very smooth. Thanks to the wide profile, it can handle your "arpeggios", "vertical moves" and even "DNA tricks" with ease.The yo-yo is very light on the strings while playing. This professional yoyo performed so excellently that I now take it out almost every day.I chose the red colour because I like the simplicity of the colour, and it has a really nice and cool logo that I love!For the cost, it's surprising that you don't have to pay $50-$100 for this competition-grade pro bi-metal yo-yo. The price/performance ratio is very good! If you're looking for your first pro yo-yo and after you know how to bind, this would be a great choice.

I picked this one up as the other YoyoStudio yoyos were pretty good. This one is actually a fantastic yoyo. It surprisingly played dead smooth, the U bearing it came with was slightly crispy to start, but after breaking it in, it's very smooth now. At 64.5 grams, it's plays extremely stable, even slightly heavy feeling as it's mostly rim weight. With excellent spin times and balance, learning new tricks seems a bit easier on this yoyo as you can move a bit slower and it will stay spinning for a good while. It has a blast catch zone and Wing Shaped so grinds are easy. Off centered fingerspins are also easy with the groove around the middle hub. Thumbs grinds are doable but difficult with a narrow inner grind ring. I didn't try the responsive bearing as I didn't like the one they used in the past, but it is included, along with string, glove, and bearing tool. The only thing I didn't like was the response pad were a little slippy.

I've tried many yoyos from Amazon, and this yoyo works just as well as the others. The thing that sets this yoyo apart from others it that it has the simple silver coloring. And if you want a yoyo that's going to give you quality use, but don't want one with all the flashy, swirly, multicolor art, this is a great option.

Great yoyo, nice weight, good balance, nice smooth bearings. Overall nice yoyo, only thing I'm not happy about are the strings, they are very thin and make the yoyo feel cheap. But bought thicker pro competition strings and it makes it a nice yoyo, should have been a little less money because the strings are kinda useless.

I couldn't be more disappointed. Was so excited about this yoyo. It won't sleep for more than fivupseconds

A highly stable and long spinning bi-metal by YoyoStudio. Unusually, it comes already in the unresponsive setup which is to my liking cause I don't want to deal with switching out bearings if it had come as responsive. However, for those that want this in responsive, the seller provides a responsive bearing with the yoyo packaging. This yoyo after all looks like it's meant for unresponsive play with the yoyo shape, the stainless steel rims, and the overall look. I hope this yoyo gets to be available in more colorways!

The media could not be loaded. This yoyo is a fantastic bi-metal and a perfect choice for those looking into getting their first bi-metal. The yoyo arrives in the unresponsive setup right away. This is a plus factor for me because it's just annoying to replace the bearing on a yoyo that's meant to play unresponsive. However, for those wanting a responsive bi-metal, it comes with a spare flat bearing and a bearing tool so it can be modified into reaponsive. Also comes with a hard shell case, a glove, and some strings. I didn't use the strings that came on this one because they're just thing and not to my liking. Though they still do their job and can be used for a few hours, especially for those that would play in the responsive setup. All in all, a great yoyo for the price you pay!

The media could not be loaded. Really enjoyed this bimetal yoyo. It a little on the floaty side with really good stability. The body has a nice finish and carries a lot of power on the rim. The response pads may need replacing as it's not as grippy. Overall I like this yoyo. For a bimetal I think this company is slowly improving on their performance. I wouldn't consider this a competition yoyo but it does capture a lot of characteristics from a good bimetal yoyo.
