Purchased plates as a set then had to buy these and the soup plates separately. Have used them several times and have gone through dishwasher and microwave several times too. I think a separate review for these style of plates said they lost their shine quickly, not been and issues for me. Lightweight but sturdy with a great shape and style. All parts of this set are great, serving plates and bowls.

This item is too small to be described as a cereal bowl, especially not for an adult.
