P4G 3.3' x 5' Primary Putting Practice Mat Golf Hitting Mat with 12mm Nylon Turf, Your Size Including one 12mm Rubber Teequipment

I purchased this mat earlier this year to go with my SKLZ net for practicing in the yard, and I couldn't be happier with it. I use it multiple times a week, and it's been great for everything from irons to driver, and even comes with the rubber tee that goes through the hole for driver. I use it for chipping practice from tight lies as well, but mostly for irons. It has held up extremely well, and the thick foam/rubber gives a fairly realistic turf interaction, especially when compared to the mats you find at most driving ranges. It shows no signs of wear, and doesn't leave that sticky green residue on the soles of my clubs that one finds from the cheaper mats. I can honestly say that this mat has been a huge part of the reason why I've finally been able to break into the 80s this year, and I recommend it to anyone that is serious about improving their scores and working on their full swing at home. As of now, it is no longer available on Amazon, but if mine finally gave out, I would replace it without question.

I have only had this product for a week. How can I rate durability etc?

Great product! I've been using the hitting mat for several weeks now and it has been holding great. If it gets dirty I just wash it off with a hose and let it dry before putting away. Great value.

This is a very nice mat. I was pleasantly surprised at the thickness, back density and high quality turf considering the price. It feels very natural for hitting from the tee or chipping directly off the surface. Also has good speed and consistent roll for practicing short puts. Overall very happy with the mat.

The large size provides to a near real actual experience. I hit 150 ball/day for three weeks and the mat showed little signs of ware.

I am average player and figured this mat would do the job. After 8 months of use, it is barely holding up. I had to redrill a hole and flip it around to continue using it. There is a big hole and a bubble area on the original hitting location and the mat is beginning to flare up. I would look into other products unless customer service can issue a solution.

Beware - the pictures shown do not accurately depict the true thickness of this mat. In particular, the one with the ruler tries to convince you there's over an inch of thickness on the lower foam and another inch or more of turf. In reality this mat measured 3/8" thick foam with another 1/4" thick turf for a total of 5/8" total thickness - or should I say thinness.If you go by the description it says you get 12mm nylon turf and 10mm EVA base which is supposed to be .866 inches. The actual dimension of 5/8" is .625 inches which is .241 inches less than described and over 1-3/8" less than depicted by the ruler.
