I hesitated to purchase this, but it really works well!

I have found this ring light to be easy to assemble, simple to operate, and easy to manipulate for just the right color light. I’m really enjoying using this light when filming videos and doing work meetings from home!

This is a versatile and durable ring light by Neewer. Both the light and the tripod/stand are made of high quality materials. The stand is metal but the wingnuts to lock the height in place are thick plastic. The light includes a remote control that attaches to the ring light when not in use. You can control the light manually on the back of the light itself, using the remote, or using the Neewer app on your device. All of them do pretty much the same thing. You can adjust brightness, color, and choose from 12 different special effects such as lightning, fireworks, etc. The remote control attaches magnetically to the ring light to charge while not in use. It also comes with a 2.4G dongle so that you can control the light from your computer if you wish.The case is pretty cool as it has room for the light, stand and all accessories. The stand has a separate compartment in the bottom of the case which is very convenient.One thing I test with ring lights is to ensure the cord is long enough to extend the light to the tallest setting without suspending the heavy part of the power adapter in the air. When that happens, it puts strain on the plug and I've seen them fail in past. This one has a long enough cord to extend the light stand all the up with the heavy part of the power adapter just touching the ground. See photo.Overall, this is a very well made light with cool features. I removed a star due to price. Neewer has another version of this light that does not include the 2.4G dongle for a good deal less. I would still recommend this light and the Neewer brand to a friend.

The media could not be loaded. I recently got the newer light ring, and I have to say, I think it’s the best ring light out there! It offers both a cool tone and a warm tone, which is fantastic for creating the perfect lighting for any situation. The remote controller is super convenient, allowing me to adjust the height easily and change the brightness to my liking. Plus, it even has a phone holder right in the middle! On top of that, it comes with a lightweight carrying bag, making it easy to take on the go. Honestly, it doesn’t get better than this. I highly recommend it!

I am a crochet designer and as such, I take a lot of pictures of my samples. I'm not good with a camera, never have been. But this light is a little bit of magic that makes everything better. We'll begin with the fact that it comes packed into a neat little case, all self-contained and safe for transport. It comes with the stand, which extends so far up that I couldn't possible take it all the way up. It ran into my 8-foot ceiling. There are two connectors for cameras: one for your phone and one for a regular camera. And there is the remote. If paired by bluetooth, you can operate both the light and camera with the remote. You can chance the brightness and the warmth of the lights. Or you can use any of a bunch of effects and modes. I was truly amazed at all the options. Now, I won't lie. This light didn't make me a better photographer, but it did make my pictures look a lot better. I don't have to worry about shooting in natural sunlight because I can take this little wonder wherever I want to shoot. I don't fiddle with the lights and I no longer have to stand up on a ladder to get a wide shot. This thing will go way up there and all I have to do is use the remote that came with it to adjust the lighting and snap the picture. I can't say enough good things about this light. I just love it. It was a 10/10 win for me.

Mi control stop working. I put it to charge hours and doesn’t turn on. It’s a shame because the ring light is really cool.
