Japandi fans will love this!It’s a little finicky to put together, but once you’ve set it up it is sooooo cute.Size is accurate to what you see in the picture, and the materials are good, the paper is thin, but durable. You will need to handle it with care like any other paper product though.The light itself is very warm, and it gets bright enough to be the only source of light when we’re getting ready for bed.All in all, it’s a cute little lamp :)

This is a quality Asian style paper lamp. You can tell by the quality of the paper shade. It feels durable. Of course it is still fragile, but tearing or poking holes in it won't be as easy as you may thing. It comes with a sort of tripod base and the top of the shade support wire has a metal loop you could hang it from. You can leave off the base and just hang the lamp (which is what I did.) at first I thought the price was a bit expensive but I looked at other similar lamps which cost either round the same price or far more, so I have to say in that case this seems to be a good value with how well it is made. Overall think the lamp is pretty and I really like it.Tip : Put in a flickering "flame" effect LED bulb. It looks awesome!

I absolutely love this style of lighting, that's why I jumped at the chance to have this light. The assembly instructions were straight-forward, but missing a step or two. The rice paper lampshade is high-quality, and looks great! (There was a small tear towards the bottom, or it was a defect in the paper. Not sure which and it didn't really matter too much.) The problem that we had was with the wire frame. After fighting with this for some time, we came to the conclusion that the frame was slightly bent. The frame snapped when trying to adjust it back, with very little pressure while going slowly. We have been trying to figure out a way to replace the frame with something else, but haven't yet found a solution. The lamp has a look all its own. Artsy. It's an item that is hard to stop staring at, it's so different. No doubt the paper lamp will add design flair to your home. But it seems cheap. I realize it is paper and the paper is sturdy. This is a delicate item. My frustration derives from not-so-good instructions. Two fastening rings at the bottom attach it to the base. One side of my lamp does not attach well, in other words, it hangs lower than the other side, ruining the symmetry of the piece. That's a minor flaw, other folks might not notice, but I see it every time I look. Also, trying to hook it to the base caused me to tear a little bit of the paper on the bottom.

Looks cool, but bulb socket is cheaply made of pure plastic and doesn’t work to light bulb. Will be returning.

Paper type lamp shade. Easy to assemble and turn on. Super cute. Perfect for bedside or desk.
