Good quality. Gets the job done much better than sponge mops

Not everything needs a " new-fangled" replacement. Bought this mop, last week, after returning one that shed strings all over the house. Saw that Quickie made this one, so decided to try it. It is a great mop and got my 1400 sq.ft. of vinyl covered floors, shining clean.These cotton deck mops are getting so hard to find. I can't believe what is out there for the new generation. They look like hand towels on sticks! Get a deck mop if you want it clean. Get a mop bucket with a wringer too, if the mop is over 12oz .because, unless you have "Man Hands", you won't be able to squeeze it out, which is vital to getting a proper clean.Take my advice. I am a 69 year old retired housecleaner who now runs a dog sitting service. I do a lot of mopping!

It is of good quality and like the mops I liked in Mexico, only too thick to squeeze with your hands, but good if you have a bucket to squeeze.

I love this mop full cotton, I was surprised by cost but well worth it!

I ordered this, the quickie mop #030, as the description states. I got the quickie #024, which is NOT the same at all. Look on the quickie.com website and type in 024 in the search and you'll see what they're going to send you. It's a much lighter mop with shorter strings and the head is plastic, not wire wound. To top it off, the handle is bent. The package was not damaged, so someone packaged an obviously defective mop! I will be searching to find the mop that is advertised here because they do still make it. It's just that Amazon is not sending it out! This is the second order in the last couple of months in which I have been sent a fake/cheap substitute. What's going on Amazon???UPDATE: I found the Quickie 16 oz. mop described/pictured here at my local Lowes for half the price of what it is here. This was their regular price, not a sale price.

This mop is really a old fashion mop heavy just like my mom and grand mom used years ago which will last.

I was rather disappointed when this item arrived in the mail. Not sure if it was described inaccurately or not.Since this product continues to be sold, no matter the seller, let me explain what you'll receive.You'll receive a mop that is lightweight, and a bit too short for use. There is not a whole lot of fiber strands to work with, but it's something that will get the job done while frustrating you at the same time. Not at all something for commercial type use, just light clean up around the home.I went out of my way to replace a mop that a house guest threw out, which was probably from a dollar general type store. I'd have had better luck going out to my local Kmart type store and purchasing a similarly priced unit that I could inspect prior to purchase. It appears that I'm not alone in my sentiments.

It cleans well and cleans up well also. Light weight and easy to ring out.
