This is a nice little kit for adding or replacing a circuit breaker in your 12 volt system. As shown in the photos, the four lugs are too large for the terminals on the breaker. You can use a small washer under and over the lug to make it useable. Chances are though, if you are doing this type of wiring, you already have the right size lug and these can be used elsewhere in your project. The lugs are better than average and four pieces of heatshrink tubing are included to dress up their connection. Two protective covers are included, great for keeping the connectors and terminals a bit cleaner under the hood of your vehicle. The breakers themselves are nicely made. I liked that the terminal has a flat spot for the nut to tighten against. Some breakers use two nuts on each terminal, tightening against each other. I like to really torque down my high current connectors, so I will reuse a couple of nuts from the old breaker so I can do that here. You don't need to, just be mindful of the torque you are applying. Nice kit, I like it, and I'm sure you will too.

Small, simple auto reset C/Bs provide simple circuit protection for low amperage circuits. There is no capability to use these C/Bs as off/on switches. They come with protective insulated rubber covers to guard against inadvertent short circuits. These C/Bs have 3/16" terminal posts and are provided with 5/16" copper lugs and shrink wrap tubing. The terminal posts are a little small for the provided lugs.

Hooked up on a 12v application for an RV. Working well for weeks now. Easy install and move the plastic sheathing cover protection.

Thought I would try these on my jon boat to protect my trolling motor. I really like the fact that they have flanges with screw holes so it can be mounted to the walls instead of just floating around. I also liked the cover that will keep you from dropping anything across the 2 pole shorting it out. think that is much better than wrapping them with electrical tape. they came with lugs and heat shrink tubing, too bad the lugs are not the right size. fortunately I have plenty extras. These self resetting circuit breakers seem well made and are really cheap.

I used these as in-line fuses for a couple of fire trucks with auxiliary equipment. They appear well made and the red covers provide a good shielding from inadvertent contact.No issues during the installation nor during their use.

Bargain bulk price for 2 count – but plastic trickery to securely mountThese are very good automatic reset 12 volt circuit breakers. I use them for the Power supply wire for Trailer Brake Controllers. If something shorts, and the breaker trips, you may just get the power back on for an emergency stop. The only problem with these plastic case automatic reset 12 volt circuit breakers is that the case is made of delicate plastic. The plastic is good for insulation, but not so good for getting a secure mount. With the metal case type, with metal mounting tabs, you can bend the metal tab to orient the case in a different position. With the plastic case you are limited to flat mounting with the whole automatic reset 12 volt circuit breaker sticking out of the mounting plate. I use a Zip Tie to secure the red color cover on the breaker.

Nicely made, easy to install, use. Tested with 30V (note: Unit rated for 50 VDC max, but 125/250 VAC) and a 0.5 ohm 50 Watt resistor and the breaker popped after only about a second. That said, I got these for my small solar installation, but the stud terminals are too tiny to work with the beefy cables I have, so these will go to something on the load side rather than an array disconnect breaker.
