I’m 5”7, 195 lbs XL fits great. Reaches up to bra line so I tuck it under. Makes me look a bit trimmer, really allows clothes to fall nicely front back and sides so they don’t get caught up in my rolls. Hand washed in cold water with gentle detergent. Have only worn in winter so cannot speak to other seasons. Compression seemed to lend a little back support by supporting belly. First purchase one leg frayed badly, silicone was rubbing off top band within thirty days. Returned and replaced. No issues with replacement

I’m about 5’10 and 220lbs. This didn’t hide much at all for me unfortunately. I just wanted my dress pants to fit a little better but it didn’t help.

Worked perfectly, wore them for 8 hours comfortably.

I was excited to finally try Spanx, after using various other brands for years. I wasn't impressed. I didn't even wear them out of the house. The thin band of elastic (?) type material around the top kept rolling down, no matter how I adjusted them. The overall fit was good and smoothing, but they simply would not stop rolling down, so I couldn't wear them at all.

This high-waisted brief style shaper turned out to be a great find for me. I am always trying different styles of shapers to find something that will work well for me without being impossible to get on or suffocatingly tight. I am a size 14, and according to the size chart, I should probably be a size L (hips) or XL (waist) in this brand, but I'm also a bit of an apple so I'm used to sizing up one or two sizes when choosing shapewear. I ended up going with a size 1X and to my surprise, the fit is darn near perfect. These were suspiciously easy to get on (I'm used to a bit of a struggle) but they definitely work! The high waist comes up almost to my bra band and thanks to the silicone band it stays put in the front and along the sides. It does tend to roll over once in the back, and I think it is because I can't get it the waist up quite high enough to tuck into said bra band. I really like the cut of the legs -- they are not cut too high, but they are also not so low that the cut into my legs. The very finely ribbed fabric in the upper part of the shaper is light-weight with a substantial feel; it is smooth and comfortable and the level of spandex is sufficient to provide a fairly strong level of compression and support. The bottom part of the shaper is a lighter weight, softer fabric, but still provides some shaping. This shaper brief really does hold everything in and gives me a smooth, sleek line so I can be more confident wearing some of my more form-fitting clothes. Best of all, there are no seams or stays, so these briefs will work under my lighter summer-weight clothes, too. I don't feel too hot wearing them either. In one part of the product description, the fabric content is described as being 100% nylon, which is complete nonsense. There wouldn't be any support or control at all if that was the case. Another part of the description refers to the fabric as a nylon/elastane blend, which is close -- the label sewn into the garment identifies the fabric is 81% nylon, 18% spandex and 1% cotton. The product description also refers to these as The Red Hot by Spanx -- Remarkable Results and gives a style number of 10128R. The shaping briefs I received show the same style number, but the label says Assets by Spanx. These check all of the boxes for me, and are by far my favorite of all of the high-waisted shapers I have tried. The quality is excellent, as I would expect from Spanx, and the price seems very reasonable. I chose the cafe-au-lait which is a dark beige, which is so versatile. I like these so much that I need several more. I already have a pair in black on the way and I will be ordering the chestnut brown next.

This is a high-waisted brief by Spanx that hides your tummy, defies muffin top, and even "gives you a perky rear view." I couldn't describe that feature as well as the listing did, so I borrowed it. Fit is true to size, and it fits just as you'd expect a high-waisted brief by Spanx to fit. It's 100% nylon, and it has some stretch to it, but it does exactly what you bought it to do.I got this in the color "very black," and I do like what it does to shape my body since I never can manage to get into the exercise room here to try to shape it myself. It does a wonderful job of keeping things in their places, and it even gives you a perky view from the rear. This brief doesn't dig into your flesh, and it's also available in plus sizes. This high-waisted brief is hand wash only, but that's fine because it's not that much fabric, and we all want it to keep doing what it's meant to do.Excellent product, a high-waisted brief by Spanx that does exactly what it's supposed to do, hide muffin tops and flatten tummies. It even gives you "a perky rear view," to quote the listing, because I surely couldn't say that better myself. Fit is true to size, and I tried on several outfits while wearing this. It made a vast improvement in all of them. This is an excellent product that is very well made, seamless, and does exactly what it promises to do. Spanx has never let me down, and this is no exception.

I was disappointed with these Spanx brand waisted briefs because they roll down and are uncomfortable to wear. I wanted to try a Spanx product because they are supposed to be one of the best brands in shapewear products. The initial fit is good, and the compression fit is great; unfortunately, they roll down and will not stay up. I land up with a roll of material at my waistline defeating the whole purpose. I like the one-piece shapewear that goes over the shoulders all the way to the thigh area eliminating the chances of uncomfortable rolling down of material and giving smoother lines. I will try the Spanx brand in shapewear like that in the future.

I was excited to try Spanx shapewear that would allow me to wear a bra of my choosing. I ordered up a size because from past experience with other types of shapewear, they always seem to run small. No matter what I have tried, these inevitably roll down despite the fact there is a silicone strip around the top to prevent these from slipping down.Maybe this isn't the best type of shapewear for me, but, I don't think I'd try a high waisted brief again.
