This stuff is not the strongest, but it works, and you can add more where needed, if possible. It has no problems hanging things on refrigerator. I am sure it would perform just as well on any other similar material. I did try it on the metal part of my desk. While it did work, the attraction was not all that strong. I am not sure what material it is made of.The backing is really thin like just about any other peel and use product, lol. Hope you have a bit of fingernails lol. But this is typical, just giving you a heads up.At the end of the day, for about $7, I am happy that we can now hang our son's stuff on the fridge without using other magnets on top of it.The adhesive seems adequate for sticking to paper products and such, no problem.As long as it holds up and does not demagnetize over time, I am happy and would recommend! I have used a bit of it now, will likely buy more.

The robot cleaner came with magnetic tape to mark places that should not be cleaned; however, I wanted more and assumed this tape would be enough. Unfortunately, the tape is not suitable for this use. The original tape was twice as wide. I tried to double the width of this tape by combining two parallel strips, but that also failed. The tape's magnetism is not particularly strong, which may explain why it is not recognized as a barrier.I believe the tape will work for small projects, and the adhesive backing will be quite useful.SUMMARYOverall, the tape did not serve my goal. The magnetic qualities are not very powerful.Thanks!

I have a storage container for my eraser board, which has a magnetic back. Initially, I attached it to my refrigerator using the magnet on the back, but the glue was weak and it kept falling off. However, this roll of magnetic tape proved to be very helpful. It allowed me to easily replace the magnet and cut it to the size I needed for the back of my storage container. I have high hopes for this magnetic tape and it seems to be holding up well so far. My storage container is securely attached to the refrigerator and I will update this review in a few weeks to let you know how it continues to perform.

I got this primarily to attach a small plastic (spice) shelf to the fridge but found that I had to use multiple strips to keep it attached. So far it's holding on, but I also only put a few spices (salt, pepper - you know, the ones you use every day) on the shelf. I don't think it's strong enough to hold any type of weight in my instance, but it was easy to install and there was enough to add a lot of strips. Good for small craft projects as it sticks well but doesn't quite hold up (hahaha - get it?) to what I needed it for.

I'm using these to support some small led lights that I use for trade shows. I have the tape mounted under bookshelf sections holding up some LED lights. The lights that I am using are not very heavy and the magnetic force of the tape is more than strong enough to hold them.The tape is thick, but not too thick to be noticeable from a distance.This may not be the perfect magnetic tape for your needs, but if you only need a small magnetic pull, this might be a good option to consider. It is perfect for my needs.

This worked great too apply some lightweight frames (Plexiglass) to a metal file cabinet, but the magnetic capabilities seem rather limited. It would work great for paper and very light plastic, but I don’t think it’s very strong for anything much more than that.

Using this as hanging strip for my magnetic window screen. Need to pull screen off from window from time to time, so need easy way to hang it. Now just stick this magnetic tape on a nearby wall, voila, pull from window and hang on this strip.Also have 3 foot-long strips taped in parallel on back of cabinet door to hang kitchen utensils, working out great. Can definitely use this tape to put more doors to good use!

The magnetic tape is as described. The dimensions are correct. The roll is clean and intact. The adhesive is pretty sticky. I don't think it would hold up well to much repositioning but that's normal. It's as magnetic as any product of this type.Overall a solid product when you need to add a magnetic strip to a solid surface.
