This product is great! It really softens the hair & nourishes the scalp. Promotes hair growth!

Provides moisture, and makes my hair easier to style.

I loved the understated citrus smell of the product, I like that just a dab goes a long way so don't overdo it. I don't like that the price of this product has skyrocketed since my first purchase. I don't like that the product is in a container that may leak while shipped which explains the appearance of less product in some reviews. I had this happen when I was flying somewhere after receiving it luckily was in a zip lock bag so be careful. I love the results I have high-porosity 4C hair, and this product leaves my hair soft and feeling very maneagable and smelling delicious. I went to their site directly this time to order the 16 oz container because I have finally found something my hair is comfortable with.....the price is like 30 dollars but I'm a fan and of course, I'm worth every penny. I love this scalp pomade. They used to carry the 16-ounce jar for $36. At $18 for 8 ounces is a ripoff. That’s why I had to take off a star. It’s very rich, and I love the smell. I have done hair, so it lasts a long time. It works well for relaxed and natural hair.

After I opened the jar, I was a bit taken aback by the thickness of this product - turns out, that's part of what makes it so awesome! I used it to moisturize my damp hair after washing and put in some two-strand twists. They dried overnight (my hair is just above shoulder length) and my twists looked so luscious and bouncy! The twists lasted longer than expected (even in summer humidity) and I will absolutely be using this product again and again!

To really rate this item I need to use it more days. I applied a little bit in my side part, it felt oily and felt like it just sat on my scalp and didn't sink into my scalp. I will try to use it throughout my hair next time and see if I can give it a better review. The scent is pleasant, kind of a lemon ginger smell, but not overpowering smell.

The “Castor & AMLA” in a Pomade replenishes my hair from being subjected to the damaging cellular / wireless technology frequencies/ radiation that’s everywhere. 3. The Quality of this product is exactly what what my “wear and tear” hair and scalp needed at this point in my life!!! 4. I’ve used AMLA products and always needed another product with more texture along with a castor oil product. But something has changed in this stronger frequency wireless environment.
