Women's Support Flip-Flop

These shoes last forever. I had my last pair for over ten years. I found them overly comfortable, but they were beige. After many trips to the garden, they looked awful. This new pair in black, fits perfectly, where the old pair were overly comfortable with more room than necessary above my toes. Like another reviewer, I believe that the old pair were a men's size 7. I ordered women's 7W. The two are entirely different as they are designed to fit either women or men. Look closely at the tags and compare them with other shoes that are in your correct size before wearing.

I am a podiatrist and wanted to try these shoes, in order to tell my patients about them. Overall they are a decent flip flop. However the arch support still isn't fantastic unless you have flat feet, but still overall better than a pair from Walmart or Target for sure!! The metatarsal pad that sits in the middle of the shoe is unnecessary and honestly not that comfortable. You only need metatarsal pads for certain foot ailments, and the majority of the public doesn't need it. So 3/5 vote for me. Not terrible, but still not exactly what I was looking for.

This is my fourth? fifth? Pair of Spenco Yumi sandals. They are normally super comfortable, have arch support, durable. My last pair lasted about 3 years with daily use. I had to send this pair back for 2 reasons...I normally wear a 7 Wide, but these were too big. They said WOMEN'S size 7 on the package and on the website when I bought them, but when I did the return, the website said this was MEN'S size 7...so a little confused. Secondly, the soles were plastic (and slippery) not rubber like every other pair I've ever bought. Something is not right. Hmmm

I just love these slippers! This is the 4th pair I’ve own and use them daily. They are comfortable and supports my feet well. I’ve walk 3 miles in them and my feet were not sore or tired. Also I love the way they look on my feet!

I love these supportive flip flops. They are the only ones I can wear with my challenging feet. I’ve owned many pairs over the years. However, this last pair seemed to not last as long as pairs in the past.

I’m so frustrated. There’s nothing “wrong” with the quality of the shoe, it’s “comfortable,” but I have seen it advertised in multiple places where orthotic shoes are sold that they help with supination. LOL NO. They literally force your foot towards the outer edge. I GET the arch support, but there’s nothing in the way of balance/support on the other side of the shoe to prevent the outward rock that happens to supinators. I walked back and forth in them and felt my foot rolling around. I’m trying to protect my knees which are sadly out of alignment. Wearing these, looking in a full length mirror, I “straightened” my legs by manually shifting my foot to proper position. I then “let go,” to see what difference letting my foot rest naturally I’m the shoe would cause. The shift was SUBSTANTIAL. Nope.I don’t want to hate on this shoe. If you pronate, this may be your dream come true, but if you supinate, it ain’t gonna work. I can’t find any shoes, besides boring tennis shoes. I give up.

Amazons supplier very sparse in styles and sizes, thus expect cancelled orders.
