KNIPEXTools - CoBolt Compact Bolt Cutter With Notched Blade (7131250SBA), 10"

Ok, it's one of my often-used trucker tools. I use it for cutting trailer seals made of threaded wire where diagonal cutters are inaffective. So they're nice because you don't have to carry heavy bolt cutters for that type of seal. However they will not cut a 1/4 inch padlock lol. Trust me, I tried it out of curiosity, no way.

I absolutely love this tool. I spent hours researching bolt cutters before I purchased these. I usually only purchase tools made in the USA, but Knipex is an exception. I used these cutters to cut fencing and fence post clips. I usually take multiple breaks due to hand fatigue, but was able to use these all day with no breaks. Truly amazed at how well they work! Time will tell, but so far I am impressed.

Great heavy duty cutters, without making my tool bag too heavy. Bought these for home where I’m doing cleanup work on renovations done by the prior owners, and adding new circuits. Cutting through nails sticking through my basement ceiling from the floor above is a breeze with these. No more banging my head or skinning my knuckles moving cables from under the beams to through them to meet code!

Great for cutting fencing. Better price than the shorter handled version available on the local tool truck. Return pretty much anywhere, but you won't need to. These are harder than anything you'll try to cut. Reputable manufacturer making a much better product with better quality control. No need for the home owner grade chubby handle.

Tested this bolt cutter (?) on a number of types of wire (baling, copper, stainless steel, chain-link fence) and it works very well. However, testing a product only tells you what it can do out of the box. Time will tell on how long it will last. Durability is still a question.
