Product Description For quick clean fire starting without flare-up or splashing. Not affected by heat or cold. Net weight: 3.75 oz. (106 g) System Requirements continuity 2013 Box Contains 1x Fire Paste Review: Excellent. - I recently bought a new Coleman peak one stove and decided rather than using unleaded fuel I would switch to Aspen 4.Aspen is a much cleaner petrol with a lot of additives taken out of it,it doesn't smell as bad as unleaded and doesn't clog up stoves.I decided to switch fuels because ordinary car petrol aggravates my asthma.Well the problem is Aspen just doesn't light very easily I was getting a yellow flame which was shooting up singeing the hair on my face.I thought I would try priming the stove which is something I have never had to do before but couldn't find the Optimus priming paste.I came across this on a bush craft forum so did a search for it on desertcart.I works surprisingly and solved the flaring up problem when lighting my stove. It also comes out of the tube easily without making a mess and doesn't smell bad either. Review: Great balls of fire... - Great stuff for lighting camp fires. Water resistant a small pea size amount is enough to start damp kindling. Will last a long time.

Handy for stove primer
Effective for the white gas stove I have from Optimus. It's a primer that draws up the gas vapours from the tank. Akso eorks as a winter pre-heater for Trangia alcohol stoves.

Nice Firestarter!
This Coghlan's Fire Paste is amazing, works well, and takes a spark without any trouble. Perfect item to stash in a backpack and for when you need a flame extender. I wouldn't recommend brushing your teeth with it, but for starting fires, I have no complaints.

Works great - Dumb tip, put some in a paper towel
The stuff burns well, and will definitely facilitate starting a fire as safely as one could. Stupid tip of squirting some in a paper towel comes from messing with it. The paper towel turns to ash, but helps disperse whatever combustible chemys this stuff is made of. Just seems to help dispersing the flame (heat needed to start whatever kindling you’re using)… maybe makes it burn a touch slower from lack of direct oxygen vs vaporized (ready to combust) chemicals… Handy to start fires without the whoosh of the other stuff, plus portable if other stuff isn’t around or with you.

Works Great! Very Easy to start a fire.
Great product. Works great when camping/hiking/hunting as you can easily and safely carry this product around and don't have to carry anything else but a lighter. You still need good fire starting kindling i.e. dry small sticks and larger sticks to burn for your fire, but this helps get things going FAST and EASY! Only down side is that you need a good amount of it to start a fire but WAY easier and lighter carrying this around then carrying lighter fluid or a lot of newspaper.
