QC issue. Pen cap requires lot of strength to force open and to cap back.
It comes in black paper box, nothing fancy. Reasonable quality and weight due to its size. These are reasons why I rated it 2 stars:-1) To turn on the light, you need to turn clockwise by holding onto the DNA collector. However, light will turn on when you accidentally press on the collector. And it sometimes flickers if you didn't turn it fully on. Or that you have switch it off without turning enough. I guess this is due to the design flaws in the contact with the battery.2) The DNA collector has rough edges, so it's not so comfortable to turn it in order to switch on the LED light. Especially for a lady. And you may hurt yourself if you were to clip the pen onto you pocket. You don't need to collect your own DNA that way! Ouch!3) I tried turning it to access the pen but ended up opening the ink compartment. You actually need to forcefully pull open the cap everytime you want to write. This is definitely not what you will like to do. And closing the cap is a pain cause you may end up pushing the DNA collector forcefully. Wish they made a threading cap instead.4) It's a smooth writing tool but the ink don't seems to gel well, so you can see broken lines in your writings. As for the glass breaker, I can say it's not too rough kind of pointy edge. Just hope it works when I really need it.Conclusion: It will end up in my car as an LED light and standby glass breaker. Not a writing tool! Money not well spent on this.HELP! I can't cap it back!!!
