I have to use this everytime I ride so it has already paid for itself and maybe even saved a few potential accidents from happening. The sound can be heard and gets the attention of people from 30-40 maybe 50 yards away or further, easily, plenty of time to give warning. It gets people’s attention 99% of the time, the other 1% are off in lala land. Depending how far back you pull the lever determines how loud the noise, so you can do softer dings when closer to just give a courtesy when you’re passing someone or going to pass. Every bike should have a bell where you ride if people are present or other bikers. It’s a nice courtesy to give warning and this does a nice job. It also blends in nicely with my handlebars and install was a no brainer, takes 2 minutes.

When riding your bike in a city, safety is key. With that, it is so important to always have some type of warning system along with a leveled head and good visual and observational skills when on the road. I love this package of two bike bells. They ring load and have survived the test of time on my bike. This product works best for riser bars. Better to purchase something more suitable for drop bars as you want the device to be closer to the drop bars so you don’t have to move your arms much to ring out to warn vehicles or others as you ride. Regardless, I still think this bike bell is a great purchase. Well made, loud, and easy to use. It’s a simple design and I’ve had no issues with its use during all four seasons.

Great price and good quality product. I enjoy the fact that the bells are very small and can be heard from quite a distance away. They don't take up much room on bike's handlebar and are easy to install. Definitely recommended!

Pretty loud and the ringing trigger is simple, but the bell makes no sound when wet, a big problem for someone who rides regardless of weather.
