I looked at other products and they were so much more expensive or they were very cheaply made. This is actually very nice and fairly sturdy. Another reviewer talked about the double sticky tape and that is true it does not hold very well but super glue does hold very well. I'm very happy with it. If you get it just run to the dollar store and get a little super glue and you will have a very nice product for much less money than anything else out there remotely comparable.

It comes flat so you have to stick the pieces together. It doesn't sit properly so unless you have bookends, it tends to splay out to the sides. It's not heavy enough to stay on its own. Looks decent on the shelf once it is positioned correctly but for $30, this was not it.

It could be taller to hide my modem, which is taller than the books by a few inches, and it could have better tape since the ends never stick together so it looks a little disheveled while on the shelf.

I really wanted to love this product for hiding my electronics, but unfortunately, it didn’t work as expected. While the idea behind it is great, in practice, the Fake Book Box only seems to work effectively on higher shelves, or when viewed from a distance. For example, standing a bit further away, it can hide small items, but as someone who is 5'2", I was still able to see parts of my router even from 10 feet away. If you need to conceal things on a high shelf, this might be an option, but it didn’t suit my setup.Another issue I encountered was with the book covers. The designs didn’t appeal to me, and they seemed out of place for my decor. One side features a black and white silhouetted Statue of Liberty image, while the other has a skull graphic, neither of which I found desirable.Additionally, the product is made from heavy cardboard, and the assembly was tricky. The provided adhesive didn’t hold the cover securely, so I had to apply my own adhesive and apply pressure overnight to get it to stay in place. While it eventually held better, it still opened at bit.Given the price point, I expected a better design and quality. For the right situation, this product may work, but unfortunately, it wasn’t the right fit for me.

This is so cheap. It is cardboard. It comes in two pieces and you need to stick it together, however does not stay stuck together. It’s too late for me to return it. I had to superglue it for it to even be usable. I sandwiched it between other real books, so it is working, but I would never buy this again.

Not what I expected, but it does work and the pictures are accurate. This is not six books. Rather it is two pieces of cardboard, which, when positioned correctly on the right kind of book shelf, will look like books. As that is what is shows in the product pictures, I am not deducting any stars for it not being what I expected. It does a fine job doing what it does. I'm attaching a photograph.
