These tools are decent quality, which is fine for the beginner students who will be primarily using them. However, the long fettling knife is more blunt on the end than expected, and the tip was very rough and scored up the canvas I had underneath the slab. After smoothing it with a dremel it was better. Both knives had good flexibility, and comfortable handles. To sum up my review, these tools are fine for beginners and students, but are not professional quality.
